High school student Tohru Honda lost her mother and began living with the Sohma family. She finds out the family members are cursed by Chinese zodiac spirits, and turn into their respective zodiac animals when they're hugged by a person of the opposite gender. Tohru decides to try and break this curse.

This one was one of my favorites. There isn't much to know about it except the reason that it is called Fruits Basket. I just wanna make sure that you aren't lying awake at night trying to figure it out. XD Not like you would do that...

Anyway, it's because the main character is the "Rice ball" in a "Fruits Basket." They are basically saying that she is the odd one out. Currently, I'm trying to find the Manga. But if you are more of a TV kind of person that's fine with me. But every time that I searched it on the internet, it came up with the manga and everyone was saying that it's really good so I wanna check it out for myself.

I watched it on Netflix under the "Anime" genre thing. You can try to watch it on Youtube, but the footage is horrible. (No offense if for some odd reason the person that uploaded it finds this.) 

Main Characters

Tohru: cares about everyone and everything except herself, is one of the very few people that knows the Sohma's family secret

Arisa: one Tohru's best friends. She was a yankee (part of a Japanese gang).

Saki: one of Tohru's best friends. She is can sense people's electric waves and can shock/electrocute people with her mind.

Yuki: he goes to school with Tohru and most of the girls at school have a crush on him, nicknaming him "Prince Yuki." He is the rat.

Shigure: he is a writer and likes flirting with high school girls. He is the dog.

Kyo: is a loner and hates Yuki. He lives with Yuki, Shigure, and Tohru. He has anger issues. He is the cat.
