Italy, once home of the strongest empire in the world, has changed. This is the story of Italy, now a cowardly pasta-loving fool, and his friends (other personified countries of the world) as they live through strange moments in world history.
Oh my gosh this anime is so confusing and the episodes are 5 minutes long. It's pretty good, an awesome side- anime to watch.
I decided to check this anime out around the time that we were reviewing World War II in school. It confused me, so I decided not to watch. But eventually, someone on here requested it and I decided to try again.
And I have to say.... LOL!!!! It was awesome and I just found that it has sequels and a movie, which I will probably check out as a side anime in the near future.
This anime takes the stereotypes of all the countries and makes them into one person, SO SMART AND SO CREATIVE AND SO AWESOME.
I totally recommend this to people who love history.

Main Characters
Italy: a naive pasta-loving country who is pretty weak but tries to help in any way he can.
Germany: a strongheaded country who knows how to fight and helps out Italy, a lot.
Japan: unsocializing country who likes the simple life but is a pretty good asset in battle.
