Luke always saw the way you looked at your current boyfriend. He hated it. He hated him. He felt like he lost his breathe. His lips would tremble and he thought you would never know how he truly felt about you.

Ashton-

"I've always dreamed about this moment,

But now it's here and I've turned to stone."

All Ashton's mind was telling him was to do was, to tell you. To tell you every single night, he lie awake sleepless, or those sleeping. Dreaming or thinking about you. He felt helpless. He could never muster up the courage to tell you.

Calum-

Calum thought if he wrote you a song, you would catch on. Leave that jerk you call your boyfriend and be his princess. But you were oblivious. Calum was dying inside because writing a song was the only way he could properly express his feelings. 

Michael-

For all the times those words were never said."

Michael never told anyone. But he was quite an artist. He painted, drew, sketched. Anything to withdraw his emotion onto something, anything other than his mind. He was frustrated with himself for not being able to face his fears and tell you. He could never tell you. 

(A/N: I'm really happy with how this preference turned out because I really really really love this damn song, and I put a lot of thought into it!!
