Proposal of the sea part five-nouis

Last part! Who's excited? All will be well. Maybe... I'm just kidding. Don't worry. Okay! So I don't have a lot to say, so I'll just get on with the last part! Enjoy!

"Niall! Come on! I want to get out there!" Niall turned as his friend Josh yelled for him. It had been months since he's lost Louis. And this was one of the first times he actually went out to sea after Louis. And it made me think of him. Josh had seen how depressed Niall was and decided that he would take him on a boat trip. To make t worse, it looked as if it was going to rain. That was never a good thing for a boat trip. Niall trudged over to the boat and stepped in.
"Josh, I don't think it's a great idea to be going out in this weather..." Niall was trying not to sound annoyed.
"It's fine, Niall. Just sit back an relax for once. You've been pissy all month. Relax." Josh was trying to lighten the mood as he pushed the boat off the dock. Niall tried to relax, but all he could think about was Louis. He was a part of this water. And Niall had no way of holding water.
"Hey, Niall. Do you think we'll see any sea animals?" Josh said excitedly, having never really been to the ocean much.
Niall shrugged. The only thing he wanted to see was Louis. But that wasn't possible. The boat rocked harshly, almost knocking Niall out. Niall looked up and saw the rain clouds had gotten darker and rain was starting to fall. The waves crashed against the boat.
"I told you this wasn't good weather, you cunt!"
Josh, huddled in his raincoat, made a inaudible noise. Niall held onto the side of the boat, trying not to be knocked out. But the boat's wood was becoming slippery. His hands slipped from the side, just as a wave hit the boat violently. Niall was knocked over, straight out of the boat. As he fell, he hit his head on the side of the boat, knocking him unconscious. The last thing he clearly heard was Josh screaming his name. Then everything was muffled by water. The sounds of the waves, the thunder, and Josh himself. Niall couldn't open his eyes. He drifted, falling deeper into the ocean.
'So this is how I die?'
He sank, falling deeper and deeper into the sea. His brain was losing oxygen. His eyes slipped shut and he was drifting off.
Beneath him, there was something speeding towards him. The person caught him in his arms and leaned down, kissing his forehead. Niall's eyes shot open. Before him, was his lost love, Louis. He felt so weak still. Too weak to be called alive. His brain lacked oxygen. Louis looked at him.
"I have to ask again, do you accept this proposal?"
Niall, with the last of his strength, nodded, before his eyes slipped shit.
His legs felt weird, as if they were being joined together by rubber. Suddenly, his mind was clearing. He could think again, and his first thought was of Louis. Niall's eyes shot open, and to his amazement, his legs were gone. In their place, there was a beautiful golden fish tail. Turning around, he stared at Louis.
"That's part of the proposal. But I couldn't do t while you were alive. That would have killed me. So I waited. Waited for you to come back. And by some miracle, you came. Nearly scared the living daylights out of me, falling out of the boat. But then you started to slip away, and I knew, the proposal could be done. And now, it has."
Niall stare at Louis.
"You're alive... And I'm a merman... Oh my god..." Niall whispered, his brain finally coming to terms with everything.
Louis laughed, the sound of bells coming from his lips. It was more beautiful underwater. Niall finally realised exactly what this meant.
"I can be with you? Forever?"
Louis smiled and nodded.
"I guess you're my queen now. After all, I am the prince, well, king now." Louis was grinning widely.
"I'm... Im... With you... Forever?!" Niall finally grinned. Swimming towards Louis felt strange, but not uncomfortable.
He grabbed Louis around the waist, one hand on his waist, the other reaching up to tangle in his hair. Louis stared at him, almost hesitantly.
"You do know, you can't see your above sea friends or family again?" He asked so timidly.
Niall laughed.
"I don't are as long as I have you." An with that, he kissed Louis, smiling into it as he no longer had to worry about Louis burying into bubbles. He could kiss him, and love him. And that felt great. Louis kissed back with all his strength, putting all his love into it.
"I've never been happier." Niall almost cried. He may have just almost died, but this was better. He was back with his love, who somehow mysteriously is alive, and he could be with him. No worries. It was just them. Well, If you count the three dolphins who appeared, rejoiced that there king had returned, and now had a queen. And it was perfect.

THE END OF THIS SHORT STORY! The end probably sucked and was confusing, because I lost the last part of the doujin... So I was trying from memory... Just to be clear, Niall was dying, Louis saved him, the proposal, Niall's a fish man now, blah blah blah, they lived happily ever after. Anyways, new one shots! Yay! I'm posting this late Christmas and a New Years one cause I feel festive. Hope you likes this!
