Chapter 19

Zeke POV:
"Shanell can you pleaseee watch the kids tonight I'm only gonna be out for a few hours", I was begging to Shanell over the phone.

"Ezekiel Isaiah Tyler Carter, I told you I got things to do", she said knowing I hate when she uses my full name.

"Really nell after all the shït i done did for you".

"ZEKE WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU EVER DONE FOR ME".

"Alot little nigga now i'm older so you watching the kids", I demanded lil nigga.

"Imma chop ya dick off", she said, I just laughed. "Love you too pooh", I said hanging up. I was already on my way to Lacey house when I was on the phone so nell was gone watch them either way it go. I typed in her address on my GPS and headed to her house.

Shanell POV:

I literally hate my brother but I love my nephews and nieces and I really love them if I'm passing up some pussy for them. I was popping some popcorn when i heard someone knocking at the door. I walked to the door and opened it to be welcomed with a black gun in my face. I jumped back and saw Izzy cracking up.

"Puta I should kill you, for pulling that shit", I yelled. I saw Madison behind her walking up with the kids in a short leopard print dress and red heels. She dropped the kids off and kissed my cheek.

"Bye mommy", the kids waved as there mother walked away.

"Aight what yall wanna do", I asked mushing Izzy off the couch.

"Watch disney", Milani and Hazel yelled. I turned on Disney and Frozen was on. So you know they lil off-key asses was singing.

Izzy and I walked to the kitchen and started talking. "You find that nigga who was in yo girls window", I asked.

"Not yet but I think it was sone fuck boy from the Spaniards", she said. We don't fuck with them niggas.

"Aunty", I heard Milani all I saw was her running pass the window to come to the kitchen and bullets started flying into the house. Izzy and I dropped down immediately and yelled for the kids to get down but it was too late for Milani. The gunfire went on for about 5 more minutes until we heard skid marks meaning the car was driving away. I jumped up and ran to Milani side and felt that she had no pulse. I screamed and cried. I looked and saw hazel and Andre under the table hugging each other. I picked up Milani and ran outside and jumped in Zeke's Toyota that had bullet holes all over it. I put lani in the back and ran and jumped in the car speeding to the hospital. we got there in under 10 minutes since i was driving at 85 mph. I picked lani up and ran into the hospital and started yelling help frantically. Doctors and nurses ran up to me with a gurney. They took her and rushed her into surgery. I dropped to the floor and cried and screamed. I looked up and saw my mom looking down at me smiling and I cried even harder. I took my phone out and called Zeke and Madison and told them what happened.

In under 3 minutes Zeke ran in the hospital with only his boxers and socks on. "Where's Milani, Wheres my baby", he was screaming the nurses were trying to calm him down and trying to make him sit. I pulled him over to me and told him everything that happened and he broke down and started crying. 5 minutes later Madison came running in with no shoes but her dress on. I grabbed her and told her what happened. And she screamed and cried.

We all sat huddled crying waiting to see what happened. Izzy came in with Andre and hazel and my uncle and aunt followed her a hour later. It felt like days before the doctor came out the doors with his scrubs on and blood on his gloves.

"Family of Milani Carter"

We all jumped up and ran to him. He looked at us and I needed to hear no more.

"We tried everything we could but she did not make it". Madison screamed so loud and Zeke lost it about to fight the doctor. My uncle and I held him back while my aunt was comforting a crying madison on the floor. Zeke sat on the floor crying. I held him and cried with him. My niece was only 6 when she was shot in her neck and bled to death.

"Can we at least see her", I asked the doctor he let only me, zeke and madison see her. Seeing her pale body made us break down again, madison laid on her daughters body and cried. We sat there for an hour before we had to leave. Zeke kissed her forehead and laid his on hers.

"I do it for you babygirl", he said and said I love you before we walked to the cars.

"Nigga you ain't cold", I said through sniffles, he was still in only boxers and socks. He looked down at himself and lightly chuckled, but quickly scowled. "My anger is making heat for me",he said.

"You know we got these niggas", I said and he nodded hugging me close and we cried. We turned and madison had no life in her eyes. We let her take the kids home tonight. She needed them more than anybody tonight. We got home and police were at our house. Oh fuck. We walked up to the door and they asked did we live her and we said yes. They asked what happened and I told them everything.

An officer came out of our house holding a gun and some drugs and they looked at us. We sighed and said we know the drill. They cuffed us and read us our rights. I asked could they lock the door so no one steals our things. They at least did that and covered the window. We drove away and I started silently crying. Everything is falling apart and I didn't even know that its only the beginning.

Sorry I've been gone a nigga been struggling with everything mad drama and I have flu so writing hasn't been a priority but here's a chapter.
