I looked over at my desk as my phone rang, I seen the name that appeared across the screen. Y/n. I quickly picked up the phone and answered, it was pretty late at night. "Honey, why are you calling so late? It's kinda really hard to talk right now." I spoke in a whisper, then looking over my shoulder at the door. Gine was in the other room, watching TV. I heard sniffles on the other side of the phone, my heart sank. "Honey, why are you crying? Is everything okay?" She spoke between sobs. "Can you talk?" I tried to walk to the far end of the room so I was less audible to Gine. "I gotta whisper, Gine is in the other room." She went silent, I looked at my phone to make sure she didn't hang up. "You know what Y/n?" She hummed, "sometimes I wish she was you." She sighed, "Bardock." I smiled, "god, I love hearing your voice say my name. It sounds so sweet, just know Y/n, you make me so weak everytime you talk to me." My affair with her had lasted for a long time now, I know she is wanting something actually to happen. I love her, I really do. "Have you dreamed of me at all?" I laughed, "of course I dreamt of you." She then started to panic, "does she know you're talking to me? I hope I won't cause a fight." I frowned, "no, I don't think she has a clue." I checked the time, it was definitely getting really late. "How about you go ahead and lay down, even though I really don't want to say goodbye." I tried to hold back my emotions, I wanted to be with her badly. "You don't understand how hard you make it to be faithful. I guess I never moved on from you." Gine appeared in the doorway, "who are you talking to Bardock?" I froze dead in my tracks. Y/n's side of the line went silent too, I just stared at Gine. "That's none of your concern." She just looked upset and went back to the other room. "God, why can't she be you?" I whispered to her, I wanted to just leave. But I couldn't. Y/n hung up as I set my phone down, going into the other room to sit on the opposite side of the couch of Gine.

The next night, I got another call. It was late again, I picked up the phone. "Honey, why are you calling so late?"
