I knew about Lycans.

I knew about what was going on with the she-wolves in all the packs.

Now, I also knew that from past weeks that I hadn't attended a single lecture of Mom giving mythology class. My curiousity and reasons had risen.

So, the first thing I did in the morning was, woke up with an ambition. Only to sigh in discontent.

Because the sunlight was entering my room aggressively. It was twelve in wall clock. I couldn't believe that I slept the whole morning.

The idea of attending classes was thrown out of the window. I was actually upset with Keira as to why she didn't wake me up when she left the room. Not even Mom came to my room like she always would.

Or maybe, she must still be giving lecture. So what could I do now?

I started with my routine. After getting ready, I wore a white tee under the denim dungree. My stomach was growling with hunger but I refrained from stepping downstairs at any cost. I won't be leaving my room.

I waited in my room, dried my wet hair, tried to make braids but failed brutally. Looking into the mirror, everything looked clean and washed except for my eyes.

Those grey orbs were dirtied with the moments of my insult, my father's insult, Gilbert's victory, Mom's silence and all those scenes of everything happening from an outsider's point of view.

But then, my eyes narrowed. No. I had seen more than just that.

The secrets that no other human had seen here.

I had seen these savage humans turning into wolves. I had seen them planning and preparing for the most important festival among Werewolf world under the disguise of household chores.

I knew that all these males trying to look like they were the most dangerous beasts had their asses got burnt when Lycans made a fool of them by allowing them to cross the territory, fuck their sisters and daughters who were they destined to and return back to their own packs. Guess what, they never returned.

Now, all these males hated the mere mention of Lycans and secretly, knew that with all these years, they were losing their males to suicides and preponed deaths.

I knew that all these females here trying to be badass were secretly scared of getting destined to Lycans for real. They were scared to cross that magical border and believe the unknown. Whoever had crossed the borders earlier never returned to even show a glimpse.

But did Lycans even know that all these packs were training their she-wolves to spy on them?

The doors burst opened to my room so suddenly with Keira calling my name out loud.

"Keira! What the hell!" I whined, breathing hard because I was shook by the loudness. "Could you give me a warning before doing that, for once?"

Keira chuckled and stood in my door. She touched her chin twice and smiled. With her other arm she made a shelf, and with another she touched the elbow to the hand, making an L.

"Good afternoon."

I relaxed. "Wait. How is it?" I asked while observing her track suit. "You didn't go to the mythology class today."

"No," she chuckled while making the same signs again. "We had a drill."

"What drill?" I asked hurriedly.

She repeated the sign while I tried to copy her. "Archery."

A humorless chuckle escaped my mouth while she nodded. "That's the right way," she complimented my signs.
