Cole x Chelsea

A funny idea I came up with one day as I ate 5 cupcakes in the span of 2 minutes of being home alone

Chelsea's P. O. V.

I hummed as we set up for Cole's birthday party. Jay was keeping him busy at the arcade so we can get everything ready.

"Mommy can I help hang up the streamers?"Makayla asked. I giggled & picked her up.

"Sure thing sweetie"I said with a smile. She smiled & helped me hang up all the streamers. They were actually the last of the decorations we had to do before getting all the food set out.

"How much longer till the party?"she asked as I gave her a bag of plates,napkins & plastic silverware.

"Half n hour,think you can last?"I said with a smile. She giggled & nodded as we finished setting the food table up as Zane brought out all the food.

"Cake is done in the fridge" he said with a smile.

"Good,hide the candy table please"I said as I saw Makayla trying to steal some gummy bears.

"Alright"Zane said chuckling as he set a cloth over it.

"Not till the party sweetie"I said as I picked her up. She pouted but nodded before we began seeing people arrive as I made sure the present table was easy for everyone to reach.

"Where's my favorite little grandchild?" I heard Cole's dad say as he entered. I giggled as Makayla ran & hugged him.

"Right here Grandpa! Soon you'll have another grandchild!" she said as she pulled him to me.

"I am? Thats great!"he said as he hugged me.

"Cole wants to keep the gender of this one a little surprise"I said giggling.

"That son of mine always loves surprises!"he said before everyone else got here.

"They will be here in 2 minutes" Kai said as he walked in.

"Places everyone!"I said as I went to the light switch. Once everyone was ready,I turned off the lights.

Cole's P.O.V.

"Why are all the lights off?" I asked as Jay led me to the game room. He was being oddly quiet for once. I sighed as I flipped the switch.

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE!" everyone shouted. I smiled wide & looked around.

"You guys!"I said before I was tackle hugged by Makayla.

"Happy Birthday daddy! You like your surprise?"she asked as I got up holding her.

"I love it!"I said as I kissed her head. She giggled before I set her down.

"She was having a hard time waiting all day for this"Chelsea said as she walked over. I pulled her close & kissed her.

"I bet" I said as we began to party. I happy danced with Chelsea,every so often Makayla held onto our arms to try to join us. We played a few games & snacked a little till Zane yelled cake time. We all watched as he brought in a big cheesecake he made.

"I wanted to try a new recipe" he said with a smile. I drooled a little as we waited for him to light the candles. Everyone sang to me as I kept my eyes on the cake,once that was done,I blew out the candles & Zane took it back to the kitchen. He peaked into the room smiling.

"I'll be back with slices in a minute"he said before I walked to the kitchen with Chelsea where we were met with a big surprise. In the 3 minutes Zane had left the kitchen Makayla had eaten the whole cheesecake & licked the plate clean.

"Makayla!"Chelsea yelled as Makayla held the plate down in shame.

"I'm sorry,I just leave cheesecake."she said pouting. I fell back laughing hard.

"You are so my kid!"I laughed as I hugged her.

"Your not mad at me?"she asked sounding sad.

"Of course not! That was funny"I said kissing her head. She giggled then we looked at Zane who had another cheesecake.

"I made 2 extras just in case this did happen." Zane said making us laugh. He cut the cake & began to pass it out to everyone. We began to happily enjoy the cake while Jay & Zane was doing a comedy routine they put together,it was really great. After that,I opened my presents & then just relaxed & enjoyed the party.

"Did you enjoy today?" Chelsea asked me as we sat outside.

"Greatest birthday ever!"I said before pampering her with kisses. She giggled & hugged me.

"I'm glad,we worked hard to make this great"she said smiling.

"You did an amazing job,how'd I end up with the most amazing woman ever as my wife?"I asked as we cuddled.

"It was destiny"she said before we began to dance under the stars till the party was over. The others agreed to clean up everything as Chelsea & I put Makayla to bed,she had passed out under the candy table.We tucked her in then went to bed ourselves.

"I love you Chelsea" I said as we got in bed.

"I love you too Cole"she replied before we shared a short,gentle kiss then went to bed cuddling.
