A/N: seems there's a bit of a difference between the adaptations here. In these two pictures here, we see the red skinned red king (the male) fall off the cliff to his death. And the female try to go in an attempt to save him, but ultraman powered jumped in the way, knowing she would share the same fate. He would eventually leave her to grieve over the death of her mate.

This is rather interesting since in the original one, it was the yellow skinned female who died and the red skinned male who was left grieving.
