"Peter, if you don't get up now, we'll be late and won't be able to go onto our field trip!" I heard Harley say. I groaned but lifted my head off the pillow to see that I had exactly fifteen minutes to get ready before Happy would leave us.
"Shit!" I yelled before I bolted out of my bed, glad to know that my shower was on, thanks to FRIDAY. I grabbed some clothes and then headed to the shower. I shook some water out of my hair, before I dried it some, then headed out with my bag. I stopped at the kitchen and grabbed my to go plate of breakfast, curitsy of Wanda. She ruffled my hair while I felt Steve put some of the special protien bars in my bag. I waved up at Clint, who was perched up on top of the fridge, drinking out of the coffee pot. He signed back his morning, before tossing me a small bag. I caught it to see cookies. I signed my thanks, before putting them in my bag, then catching the bottles of juice from Sam.
"Got your badges to get back in?" Natasha asked as she handed Harley and I our lunch money.
"Yes. It's attatched to my lanyard, which is in my pocket attatched to my belt loop." I said as I put the money away.
"Same." Harley said through his food, which made me make a face at that.
"Better head on down, before Happy leaves." I heard Bucky say.
"Ya, thanks guys. We'll see you after school." I said before Harley and I headed out, talking about where the field trip would be. Happy just shot us both an annoyed look, before we all got into his car, where we fell silent, where I thought back to when Tony, introduced me to Harley.
"Hey, Pete. Come down, there's someone I'd like you to meet!" I heard Tony say, thanks to FRIDAY connecting my room with the Common room.
"I'll be right down after I finish this. Two minutes, tops." I said.
"Alright." Tony said before FRIDAY cut the connection. I finished my homework, before I headed down, where I saw Tony talking to someone that looked to be around my age.
"Ah. Peter. This is, Harley Keener. He helped me out a few backs. Harley, this is Peter Parker. He's my Intern." Tony said and the name clicked from a story Tony told me awhile back.
"You helped Tony with his suit, after the whole Mandiran thing. It's nice to meet you." I said.
"Likewise." Harley said.
"Alright. You two go ahead and go to the lab, get to know each other, all that shit. Pete, help Harley create a passcode for the lab, then make him the same access card as you. FRIDAY, will call you two back up, when Harley's supplies for his room arrive. It'll be next to yours, Pete. Anyway, I've got to go to a meeting, otherwise, Pep and Scary Girl will kill me." Tony said and I snorted.
"Tony, we've talked about your cursing around Peter." Steve said as he walked in, with his Eyebrows of Disappointment, ready.
"Steve, you say that like I can't hear you and Bucky." I said with a straight face, causing Steve to immediatly turn bright red, making Harley and Tony to straight up cackle, while Bucky choked. I could hear Natasha laughing softly, before she told the others.
"Oh, we'll get along just fine." Harley said once he could breath. I smiled before I sat a hand on his shoulder.
"Follow me and I'll show you to the lab." I said and he nodded. I struck up a conversation with him, before we got outside the lab.
"Whoa." Harley said as he looked in through the windows.
"Ya, I said the same thing." I said as FRIDAY pulled up the lockpad.
"FRIDAY, pull up a new passward pad." I said and she did, where I talked Harley through it, as I kept an ear out for the others.
"Alright. All you got to do is key that passcode in, whenever you want to enter the lab." I said.
"So who has access to the lab?" Harley asked.
"Let's see. Tony, Rhodney, Pepper, MJ, Ned, You and I." I said.
"Who's Ned and MJ?" Harley asked.
"Ned is my best friend, and MJ is my girlfriend. Ned, is out of town, visiting family, he'll be back Thursday, and MJ is the one, Tony called, Scary Girl."
"Why?"
"She can be scary. You know, Pepper's rep?" I asked.
"Of course. Everyone does. It's why she's CEO." Harley said as we entered the lab, the door quickly locking behind us.
"Ya, MJ is the same way as Pepper, plus Natasha's training. So think, Black Widow meets Pepper Potts."
"Holy shit, that's scary."
"Ya, I know." I said.
"Your a brave man." Harley said with a serious face.
"She's only scary if you piss her off. She's pretty chill though." I said before I started to show him around the lab.
"This place is so damn cool." Harley said.
"Ya, one more thing but you have to keep this one a secret." I said and he looked at me weirdly, so I jumped up onto the ceiling.
"Holy fucking shit!" he yelled.
"I'm also Spider-Man."
"Why you telling me this?"
"Because, you'll see Tony and I working on my suit, or I'll be injuried and you need to know why I'm here instead of a hospital." I said.
"Why can't you go to the hospital?" Harley asked as I landed lightly back onto my feet.
"My blood is radioactive, and half spider."
"And that would be a red flag to anyone that your Spider-Man, which would than be a man hunt for either Human experimentation to wanting more of you." Harley said.
"Ding-ding." I said before I gave him a run down of my powers.
"Cool. So, what about the others up there?"
"Well outside the powers, we're all human. Well, minus Thor and Vision. Thor is a God, and Vision is a Andriod. It's a crazy family, but it's a family. Anyway, what brings you to New York anyway?" I asked.
"Uh, my mom got remarried, so we all moved here after my Step-Dad got a promotion. Tony said that if I ever came to New York to hit him up, so I did and he said I'd intern under him, and hold a room here at the tower, for late nights or other purposes." Harley said and I nodded.
"Awesome. We do family dinners on Saterdays, so you should bring your family, and you can meet my Aunt, and the others." I said.
"What, I don't get to meet the Avengers?"
"No, you can do that later today. I meant the families. Like Ned's and MJ's." I said.
"That makes more sense."
"Hm. So, tell me. Do you not like your step-dad?"
"He's okay. I don't hate him, but I don't like him either."
