So a youtuber i like that goes by the name Squigglydigg (i love everything she does shes an amzing artist, animator, and singer and im currently bingeing her sonic streams)
But anyway she redrew the movie poster but only changed the pose, she tried to keep the composition and sonic's design exactly the same and honestly the new pose makes it look so much better even if sonic himself still looks weird

It looks so much better
To me it seems like the new pose keeps the emphasis off of sonic's strange design and more on sonic's badassery. It makes him look a lot more like sonic and not a weird buff furry child with sonic's head. Although to be fair, squiggly is a cartoon artist and her version is still somewhat stylized in the way she draws his quill shape and hands and stuff
I did a comparison between the original pose and squiggly's just to see the dynamic change and mood it gives.
