*Y/n POV*
MewTwo, Weiss, and I hid in a bar the next day, waiting for Yang and Blake to get back. Darkrai and Neo were in the booth next to us.
We all were wearing hoods and hiding our faces from other people. Mostly because we're wanted terrorists now.
I took a sip out of my beer, turning my attention to Weiss and MewTwo, who were sitting oddly close. They had their heads leaned in, speaking in low voices.
Weiss giggled and blushed, and I knew what was going on.
'Good job MewTwo.'
I put my beer back down on the table, and leaned back, as Darkrai did the same so we were sitting back to back.
"So Dad," He whispered, "What now?"
"We sit around and wait," I whispered back, "Got nothing else to do."
I took a swig of beer, and he raised an eyebrow.
"Are you sure you want to be drunk?" He asked, "Cresselia's going to be there you know."
"I know."
We were silent for a minute, before he spoke up.
"Are you worried about something?" I was silent, "I'll take that as a yes. What's got you worried?"
"...Do you think Cresselia... wants to see me again?"
There was silence for a moment, before he spoke up.
"What the hell are you asking, Dad?" He said, "You're her father. Of course she wants to see you again."
"I mean..." I hesitated. "Would you say the relationship between me and you is good?"
"Our... relationship?" He repeated, "I would say... it was... fine."
"Even after I let you get taken by your aunt? After I refused to fix things with my sister, forcing you to become involved in a war you shouldn't have had to deal with? Even after I was a complete failure of a father?"
His silence was the only answer I needed.
"Now think about my relationship with Cresselia," I said, "You and I came back together, and managed to make up. Cresselia and I didn't meet again until you and I were stuck here."
"Dad-" He began, before I cut him off.
"I missed most of her life. I wasn't there for my own daughter. I didn't get to see her grow up. When I think about it, I don't know the slightest thing about her. I don't know what she likes, her favorite food, or even her favorite color."
I let out a sigh, taking a swig of beer.
"I'm a complete f*cking failure."
"Dad..." Darkrai said quietly.
"Shut the f*ck up."
My eyes widened in surprise, as I heard Darkrai cuss. His calm demeanor usually kept him from cussing.
"You're not a failure. You did the best with what you had. And if Cresselia and I hated you, I would've killed you a long time ago."
"But-"
"No." He said sternly, "I love you Dad. You need to realize that. I can't speak for Cresselia, but I think I can say that she loves you too. We're your kids, we could never hate you."
I felt tears poke at my eyes, as I lifted my drink again.
"Thanks, Son."
"Anytime, Dad."
