The Black Reaper

Chapter 4

"Kaneki-san! Let me eat you!"

"Rize?! It can't be! You should be dead!"

"Did you really think I would die from something like that? No. No. No. No matter what you do, I will always be here. Now die!"

"Bruce-san! Help me! Anybody! Please!"

A pair of cold grey orbs open with shock and horror. Sweat was dripping all over his face and his skin was much more paler than usual.

The white haired teenager sat up before he slowly places his palm on his terrified face.

This wasn't unusual for Ken Kaneki but it still terrifies the shit out of him.

No matter what world he's in, the nightmares still stays with him.

"Damn it."

Inside one of GPD's interrogation room, two individuals were waiting for someone that would let them talk to each other.

One goes by the name of Jim Gordon while the other goes by Suzuya Juuzou.

As they continue to wait, Jim Gordon stares at the person across the table from him.

Suzuya Juuzou. A complete sicko at first glance and also bares a resemblance as to how one of Mr. J's men's behaves and acts.

However, there is one thing that doesn't add up. Joker's men don't have weapons like the one the boy used. He also doesn't seem to have any background info of him and on the plus side; he's Japanese and doesn't understand English.

So, the chances of him being one of Joker's men is slim.

After a minute of waiting, the translator finally arrived and sat between the two certain individuals to start the interrogation.

"You are Suzuya Juuzou, correct?" Jim questioned and the translator translated it into Japanese for Juuzou to understand.

"Yes." Juuzou answered in Japanese with a cheerful face before the translator translated it into English for Gordon to understand.

"Suzuya, do you know what is your current situation right now? You're about go to prison but before that, I'm gonna have to ask you series of questions. Will that be okay?"

"Sure."

Due to the translator translating each of their words, the two was able to understand each other and the interrogation went on and on until it was finished.

Jim and the translator left the room after that before they classified Suzuya Juuzou as mentally insane and must be sent to Arkham Asylum.

The words spouting out from Juuzou's mouth were very hard to believe. He claims to be that he is from an alternate version of Earth and there are two species fighting for dominance. He stated that he doesn't know how he got here and have been living here for two years.

Jim sees the whole thing as absurd and regretted that he just wasted an hour.

After all, he should be at home by now.

It was nighttime in Gotham City and as always the streets were bustling with crime.

After realizing he can't sleep, Kaneki decided to don his Black Reaper suit and do a little crime fighting.

Right now, he is on a rooftop of a random building, watching out for any dirtbag he could find.

Kaneki knew it won't be long for something bad to happen and he was right. He saw a young girl being sexually harrased by four pedophiles on an abandoned street.

On cue, The Black Reaper jumped from building to building before landing where the crime is happening.

Hearing a landing sound, the four pedophiles and the young girl turned their attention to the newcomer.

"Shit! It's the Black Reaper!"

"What are we gonna do?!"

"What we always do when a prowler comes around. Get him!"

They then charged at him with knives on their hands but it proved to be fruitless as The Black Reaper dodges each of their attacks rather easily.

Deciding it was time to finish this, The Black Reaper sends a powerful kick to their leader which launches him fourty meters away before sending an uppercut to the second-in-command, launching him into the air. Both of them were knocked out in the process.

Realizing they couldn't win, the remaining two decided to ran away.

But the Black Reaper wouldn't let that happen, he quickly summoned two Kagune before shooting it straightforward, stabbing them in the shoulder.

They screamed in pain as lots of blood spurts out.

Annoyed by their scream, The Black Reaper knocked both of their heads at each other with the use of his Kagune, putting them to dreamland.

After it was done, The Black Reaper let his Kagune dissolve into thin air before attending to the victim.

But as he got close to her, her reaction made him realize what he is.

She trembled in fear and paled at the sight of him.

"Stay away from me! You monster!"

Those harsh words coming out of her mouth made The Black Reaper take a step back before slowly disappearing into the shadow.
