Astrid's POV:
--------------------"So, where is that 'menu'?" I asked Hiccup.
"Um, I lost it."
"Was it really a menu?" I nudged him.
"Yeah, yeah definitely. Ruff was just excited about the cake." He answered rubbing the back of his head. I just decided to start a new conversation.
"So your an archer? What's your story?" I asked Merida. We sat at a large table with carved chairs. There was an entire buffet of food.
"I turned my mum and brothers into bears." She answered calmly as we all dropped what we were eating and stared at her. "My mum wanted me married to some random person and I wanted to change her mind. I went to some witch who gave me a cake and said it would change her. But I didn't know it would change her into a bear. What about your story? You said your the chief." She asked Hiccup while we looked down to the cake we were eating and slowly pushed it away.
"Um, yeah, um...." I finished his sentence for him.
"He was the first person to train a dragon. The most deadly one too." I answered.
"Um yeah and..." He started to have me finish again.
"And he defeated the Red Death, the queen of the nest closest to us and he defeated the Bewilderbeast king of all dragons which gave his place to Toothless." I continued eating a peace of chicken.
"Wow, busy life." She complemented.
"There is much more in between but that will take hours to explain." Fishlegs added.
"Yikes. I'm stuck in the castle all day. Except for tomorrow. The one day I get to leave and do whatever I want. Ye guys should come with me. I can show ye the falls." She offered.
"Love to babe how long will it take to get there?" Tuff asked.
"Three hours." She responded as Tuff spat out his water.
"You know it would be quicker on dragons. Only half an hour if that." Hiccup suggested.
"Well does it look like I own a dragon?"
"You can just ride with us." He offered.
"Fine but I stay on ONE dragon!" She yelled.
--------------------
The next day:
--------------------I can't believe she is riding with Hiccup. She looked like she is enjoying it too. She showed us where the falls were and we all landed at the top.
"Isn't it great up here!" She yelled. "Thanks for the ride Hiccup!" She smile scruffing his hair as she got of Toothless. I crossed my arms. I'm the only one who plays with Hiccups hair. She is driving me insane. We all got off our dragons and stood at the edge of the cliff. That was until Merida some how fell off and Hiccup went after her catching her at the last minute. They landed back behind his and Merida hugged Hiccup, thanking him for saving her. I clenched my hands and grind my teeth. Hiccup saw me standing there and pushed Merida aside. Something skimmed across her face. It was like a frustrated look.
"So, ye want to see the giant stones?" She asked us.
"Why not we got time." Tuff answered.
"Let's go then." She got on the back of Toothless behind Hiccup again. My frustration level rose. She hugged him tight and he didn't seem to notice but I sure did. We landed in a field with a circle of stones.
"Ye guys wait here I'll be right back." She then left walking into some dark forest. We all just stood there looking around. I pulled Hiccup aside to talk to him but before I could Merida came back out and told us we should get back.
