Health Class (Choni)

Cheryl's POV

There aren't many classes I have with my girlfriend, Toni. In fact, there is only one which is Health class.

Sadly, I have some quite annoying people in my class which hate the serpents. The whole school knows I'm dating Toni and they know if they say anything bad about the serpents, I will personally destroy them. Some people can't take the hint.

Everything always gets awkward when we start to get into the sex ed unit. It happens every year. They preach about sexual abstinence and all that stuff. Little do they know that Archie Andrews and the rest of the football team already slept with basically the entire school.

In case you are wondering, yes Toni and I have done it before. I mean have you seen her? Of course we have. Some people may have spread a rumor about it which cause people to be mean to my girlfriend, which is not cool. Naturally if anyone insults Toni, they will have hell to pay.

"So where do you want to go for our date tonight?" Toni asks me. Soon our health teacher gives us a glance to stop talking. I ignore the glare and show Toni a list of restaurants I want to try out. We go on a date basically every night. It's kind of our tradition. I just put it on my credit card no matter what the cost.

One of the football players fell off his chair and the entire room laughed. Now while the teacher talks to him we have some time alone. Toni and I sneak in a kiss quickly while the teacher isn't looking. It is so difficult to control ourselves around each other and moments alone with her are what keep me sane.

"You all better be studying for your abstinence quiz. It's tomorrow. The best way to learn things is by performing them. Y'all better be abstinent or you'll get pregnant and die," The health teacher says glaring at all the couples in the room. There are the obvious ones like Archie and Veronica who can't keep their hands off each other. Then there is Reggie with some random girl, not a surprise. And of course there's Toni and I.

"What should we do when it's the STD unit then, try and catch 'em all like Pokémon?" I ask the teacher. I admit that was a pretty good remark on my part, Toni even gave me a high five. Everyone laughs except for a certain football player.

"You probably have them all already Cheryl, you're dating that filthy serpent," Reggie comments and gains some high fives from his football friends. I glare at Archie for tolerating this but he shrugs his shoulders. That redhead, for being friends with a serpent, wasn't the best ally.

"Oh please Mantle, you've slept with more girls then Archie and that's saying something. If you say anything about my girlfriend ever again I'll break your neck you filthy man-whore," I shout back. Toni tries to hold me back as I am ready to pounce at him from across the room. My teacher nearly faints from learning of some of her students behaving in a way completely contradictory to our unit.

"From all this information, I think I need some peace and quiet to process it all. Class dismissed," The teacher announces. It's one of those 'I'm not mad I'm just disappointed' moments that many adults have.

I excitedly pack up my stuff and lock arms with Toni as we exit the classroom. She looks at me in a really adoring way. It sends shivers down my spine.

"Cheryl, I can't wait until we get to the female anatomy unit," Toni whispers in my ear. I try my best to remain chill.

"Why's that? Excited for some hands on studying?" I whisper back. Toni bites her lip.

"Why wait? What you did back there was really hot... defending me and all," Toni states softly. I pull her in for a passionate kiss. I could stay like this forever.

"Let's head back to my place," I decide.
