Come Home

Y/N's P.O.V

I was sitting on one of the couches in Shawn's apartment. Looking out the big windows I could see the skyline of Toronto lighting up the night.

Sighing to myself I set up my laptop on the couch and hit the skype icon. Clicking Shawn's name the screen came up and starting ringing.

I was so tired and stressed out from the long days I had been having at work. It didn't help that my family was on my nerves as well about me living so far away from them.

Shawn suddenly popped up on my screen making me smile a little. Pulling my knees to my chest I rested my head on them while the looking at Shawn.

"hey baby!" he smiled.

"Hi Shawn" I sighed.

He narrowed his eyes a little at me.

"what's wrong?"

"it's really silly, don't worry about it" I said pulling the deep blue blanket back around me.

"I have to worry your my girl and I know when somethings wrong"

"It's just work is being a pain and my family is being so annoying about me living so far away from them still even though it's already been almost a year. and I just don't know what to do, the last month without has been horrible and everything is falling apart" I sighed.

"babes, you know you just say the word and i'll be back to you in a heartbeat." Shawn sighed running his hands through his hair.

"I know but I don't want to put you through that it's really nothing" I whispered the last part feeling my bottom lip quivering.

"Y/N" Shawn said.

"please come home" I let the tears fall.

"i'm on my way, I love you"

"I love you" I whispered.

After we ended the call I shut the computer off and went to the kitchen to make a little snack. Settling in back on the couch I sighed and turned on the tv to find some late night show to put me to sleep.

Finishing up my snack I could feel my eye lids getting heavier and I finally let them close. Letting sleep surround me.

Shawn's P.O.V

After I ended the call with Y/N I went and booked the first flight out of here. I was happy I was only in New York so the flight would be a couple of hours tops.

Once we had landed and I had collected all my luggage I went out into the parking to find my jeep. Loading my things into the backseats I started it up and started my half hour drive home.

Seeing all the buildings getting closer and closer I smiled a little I was coming home to see my girl. Pulling into the parkade of my apartment complex I left my things in the jeep and ran upstairs. Digging around for my keys I unlocked the front door and opened it quietly.

Shutting it gently behind me and locking it back up again I could see the light flashes of the tv on the floor. Rounding the corner I saw Y/N passed out on the couch. The blue blanket I had gotten her was wrapped around her.

Going up to the couch I put my hand on her back and called out to her quietly. Seeing her eyes flutter open slowly she saw me and got up pulling me into a massive hug.

"I love you so much Shawn thank-you for coming home" I could feel her sigh.

Sitting on the couch with her still in my arms I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"you know i'd drop anything in a second to be with you"
