OKAY OCTAVIA BLAKE. WHAT'S GOOD?

I've been wanting to write this chapter since ep 4 and watching ep 5 made me want to write it even more although I probably will be writing more of octavia throughout this season.

I just want to say I still love octavia, she's is trying to do her best in being a leader but in someway, she lost her way and thats what I want to talk about.

We see Octavia at the end of season 4 talking to Bellamy and how bellamy and telling her how she has to become a leader to keep everyone in check, not to mention we see them end on good terms.

Now, the ending of ep 1 of season 5 we get a glimpse of what's happening in the bunker, we see a glimpse of octavia, dark might I add.

In ep 2 we see what actually happened in the bunker and I understand what octavia had to do, but in ep 4 that's when I noticed she took a different approach.

Now, in episode 2 we see octavia not really wanting to be a leader but since she won the conclave, people are looking up at her to lead. She tells Marcus that he's not in charge but yet she doesn't want to take the role of a leader. But towards the end of the episode, we see octavia become a leader, at first octavia was being a good leader, doing what she has to do to let them survive, she showed that she did want the bunker to become like the ark but that's exactly what happened, because of what they found out that the rumple from ontop is covering the bunker it will be harder for them to escape, so they had to put some rules.

With Jaha telling her that she has to take the role of a leader and explained to her why he floated her mother, Octavia had an insight of what actually had to happen, know we don't exactly know what actually happened during the dark year but octavia gotten more dark.

We see that Octavia took the approach of what bellamy use to read to her and turned that into a battlefield where they fight for there survival, okay. So fight to survive. Not bad, I guess. Could've been worse.

Now in ep 4, we find out that the rules changed, it's not fighting for your survival although it may look like that, they have to win the crowd, they can't show weakness if they do, they fight again, we see that approach with marcus. Everyone sees octavia like a leader, in another way like Lexa  (but way different) I'm not talking about the way they use to lead but how people saw them. In season 3 ice nation wanted Lexa to step down because she showed weakness now, we don't really know what exactly happened to Octavia but if octavia showed weakness towards Marcus, people wouldn't like that (I'm guessing) that's why the whole love is weakness (gaia teaching) octavia took that to her head.

Now, Octavia blaming her brother for what has happened, them being at war.

Okay, Octavia is old enough to take responsibility into her own action, it wasn't bellamy fault that they are at war, it's octavia. If octavia didn't smirk at that man, that man wouldn't have shot and caused the war. Bellamy wanted peace, since he came down, he rescued Clarke, got the bunker open and organized a peace treating. With octavia wanting to be in charge wanted the place for her people, you saw that in episode 5. Octavia really turned dark, and it's a long journey for her, Bob said that what we've seen from octavia is nothing, she gets darker.

I live for badass octavia.

But her leading, will get her people killed. Octavia just like the grounders, they all think about is fighting. I hope bellamy or Indra brings her back.
