So, I found this discussion on Twitter, bare with me. So what happened is;
A Clexa fan wrote to twitter saying "Bellarke is Cliché"
Personally I don't see that.
Other Clexas agreed with her while the Bellarke fandom came and defended Bellarke by saying Bellarke isn't cliché.
I'm sorry but saying Bellarke is Cliché just because it's a male / Female like every other show doesn't make them cliché.
We have Clarke who is a Bisexual lead and we have a bellamy who is a POC lead, which you don't really see in MANY shows that includes BI/ Lesbian because it's true. You never see a Bi/lesbian or POC as a main character. Seeing a male and female as EQUAL is rare also add the fact that Bellamy is POC and Clarke is white is also an important representation.
So don't go saying our ship is Cliché and is just unimportant. Showing a white girl and a POC man together is just as important as seeing a f/f together.
So don't say bellarke is cliché because I haven't seen another male character respecting a female character the way Bellamy respects Clarke.
