Since this is a different take on character development, especially since I have not played this character in a game of D&D, I would like to see how this would play out.

And I have not had any experience in this whatsoever, so I have the basics down, and not even placed in any stats or whatever.

Backstory (and this time, from THEIR point of view!):

As a small child, I was introduced to many wonderful things in life. Knowledge, security, the arcane, all of it. As my parents were a red and copper, they were all about political and warfare or fighting.

I had many siblings, but one I figuratively, and literarally look up to was my elder brother. Despite our father wishing for him to become a warrior, as he carried copper traits, his interests were in alchemy and herbs.

Sure, our people encourage that, but this family, especially of red and copper colors, always had their first son sign up as a warrior or barbarian and fight a lot. He could do it, he was 300 POUNDS of pure muscle, but my brother kept his interests to the books and outdoors, and so have I!-

Er-the, um, books, not the outdoors, if you were wondering-

And I found out that I was connected to the arcane magicks! Now, my father was disappointed, because I was his only daughter at the time, and my brother was to be an alchemists, so I should be the warrior, right?

Well, wrong, to clarify those who had confused thoughts- not saying OR suggesting that you might be dumb in any way!- I wanted to become a sorcerer. My mother, bless her heart, told me that I could do what I wanted; so after my brother taught me to read in Gnome and Dwarvish as well, I ventured out of my clan, and into the popular and prosperous lands of Draconia.

I studied all I could, eventually getting myself into the arts of the arcane a biiiiit to quickly. So after an accidental polymorph spell, I was not a female anymore.

I mean, I carried the same thoughts and mind, but my body changed from a she, to a he! And I double checked the spell, which was SUPPOSED to change my form, had somehow changed my gender!

So of course I panicked, and headed back to my clan- in secret-, and tried to find my brother...only to discover my village was attacked and ransacked by a bunch of bandits. Now, I tried to chase them out of what remains of my home, and in anger, I accidentally changed my body again!

But it looked different...more fluid; nevertheless, I went charging in...and woke up with wounds and Bahamud knows what back in Draconica. I couldn't BELIEVE it, my own beautiful clan was destroyed by a measly bunch of bandits!

Maybe my father was right...maybe my brother and I should have become warriors. At least maybe I could have seen my mother again...

Um, back on topic, I was then told of a school that trained in the arcane abilities of Dragonborn. So I became the first gender-fluid-dragonborn-sorcerer to ever study and participate in the arcane elements and use them in battle!

Though I still do mourn the deaths of my family, I still believe that out there, somewhere...my brother may just be picking flowers and teaching his kids how to be an alchemists. Teaching them fighting skills and of a sister who learned telekenises at the age of 5.

Waiting.
