LISA's POV
Through the entire practice, we managed to set aside our personal conflicts though, Jungkook tried sometimes to ask me if I can give him a time to talk about it. As much as I wanted to, I don't think I could this time.
I looked at myself in the toilet mirror of the 2nd floor school building where our practice room was taking place. I looked unhappy.
Is this really what you want Lisa? Avoiding to talk to him?
As I tried to washed my face and at the same time, my thoughts by the tapwater, someone entered the comfort room.
"Oh" feeling a bit taken back, she mumbled.
How awkward was this. The girl who started up this mess was now right beside me. I was with her in the same room. Should I talk to her? Should I hear her reason why did she do that?
Obviously, its for her friend.
Maybe this was a perfect time to ask her a question.
"Dahy-" but she immediately cut me off.
"Look, if you're also going to scold me, not this time. I had enough. After Taehyung scolded me and Jungkook threatened me, I need a break." she said as she tried to let out her stress.
"Jungkook did that?" I asked for I never knew he would do that.
"I hate to admit but yes." she said as she let out a deep sigh.
"Okay" that was the only word I said after hearing her out. Then, I decided to take my leave.
"Okay? That's all? You really won't slap me or pull my hair?" looking surprise at my reaction, she faced me.
I didn't respond to her, instead I gave her my "just don't do it next time" smile and with that I left her.
Encountering Dahyun gave me a reason to agree with Jungkook, we need to talk. I didn't want to sound so mean but after I found out from Dahyun that she was being grilled by him, I thought that was enough.
And besides, maybe it was time for him to tell me something I should know. Hoping we might fix this just before our perfomance day, I searched for Jungkook.
Minutes later, as I was taking a quiet search, I finally saw Jungkook. He was just standing near the fire exit. Without him knowing that I was here, I went close to him, tip-toed.
But just before I called his name, he gave something to someone? I didn't notice that he was talking to someone for I was standing from a bad angle. In a flash, I hid myself. Someone accepted it from him as I saw a hand.
I should talk to him after, I thought. Quietly pulling myself from this area, I walked away. But my steps halted as soon as I heard a voice.
"Thank you" someone said.
I knew that voice. I can't be mistaken. Not entirely sure why but my nerves started to appear. Internally lacing my fingers together, I hoped that I was just hearing the wrong voice. I looked back to confirm whose voice was it and reality hit me.
Since when did they start talking again? And what was he gave to Tzuyu in this free-people area?
A lump formed in my throat as I fought back my tears. Without them knowing I was here, I stormed away.
