(30) Got Your Back

JUNGKOOK's POV

It's been one week since me and Lisa had a fight. I know I made a mistake. I know that Lisa won't do those kind of stuffs. I'm such an idiot for suspecting her. I really want to apologize to her but I don't know how. My mind is on a mess right now. I can't focus because I'm torn between thinking about Lisa and getting ready for the showcase.

We're now at the canteen taking our break.

"We should go to them, there's no other seats, anyway" Jimin pointing out to THEIR seats.

Walking towards to their direction, I already saw Taehyung sitting with them. He's beside Lisa. They seem like they're watching a video on V's phone.

"Hi, can we? Hope you don't mind" Jin asking for their permission if we can share seats with them.

"Oh sure, take a seat" Jisoo answered.

I decided to take the seat in front of Lisa. I know I'm not happy with the sight of these two being close together. But I really want to make an apology to her right now, I can't hold it anymore

I was about to say her name but she suddenly stands up,

"Guys, I forgot. I need to do something important. I'll take my leave first. Bye" she excused herself from us.

Taehyung is also starting to clean-up his food but I immediately grab my chance to follow her first. I stand up and leave my food on the table, untouched.

"Gotta go guys, I forgot something too" I told them.

"What's with the people today having an amnesia?" I heard Jin saying that as I'm walking away from them. I also saw Taehyung, he stopped cleaning his food.

As soon as I stepped out at the canteen, I come after her. Then, there I see her, slowly walking in the hallway.

"Lisa" Everyone here was surprised . This is the first time that I called her name in public. We're now on the Juniors hallway.

I know that she heard me that's why she stopped. But she didn't even bother to turn around. After 10 seconds-pause, she continues to walk. I run after her. I blocked her way.

"What do you think are you doing?" she finally talks to me but her eyes are still not looking at me.

"Can we talk?" I asked her.

"If you're talking about that day, forget it." she said with no emotion.

"Please?" I was going to reach her hands but she immediately pull it away.

"Stop making a scene, Jungkook. The people are starting to stare us" she said as she's trying to escape from me.

"I don't care about them, just give me a minute" I whisper-yelled.

"Why are you always like that? You only care about yourself. What if they misunderstand us like what you did." she's now looking to me. I see on her eyes, I did hurt her. I'm sorry Lisa.

"I know. That's why please give me a minute."

"No, you don't need it anyway" after she said that, she left.

Perhaps you're right. Maybe, I don't need your help. Cause the thing that I really need is you, Lisa. And I'm really sorry.

I deserve this. But did the universe really hate me this much?
