46. Empty Void

My brain is like an empty void.

But at the same time it's fill with so many thoughts and ideas. It's so frustrating because I'll think that I have a good idea. And I'll write it down. Then I'll start to make a story out of it. I'll plan out the chapters, and develop characters.

Only soon to discover that it's been done before or is too impossible to believe. I love to write. It's my biggest passion but I absolutely hate it when my mind is a blank slate and nothing I come up with works. I rewrite books over and over and over again. I know a ton of writer's do that but I wish I could just create something and stick with it.

I yearn to create a story that will one day be published and be loved by those who pick it up and read it. It's not an impossible dream, but it is a difficult dream especially when I find myself struggling to write a story.

I'm sorry for rambling but I just needed to get that out of my system. I hope that inspiration will come to me soon. I've tried everything. I try talking with other people who love writing as much as I do, I've watched movies, I've read books and listen to music but nothing seems to spark any good ideas.

Any advice for writer's block?

Trust me, I love what I do. I love writing and telling stories because whether humans want to believe it or not, that's what we've been doing since the beginning. That's where our history comes from and I'm honored to find such joy in continuing to create timeless stories. But I just struggle to create and settle on one.

Hopefully I'll get over this writer's block soon because it's the most irritating thing. At least in my opinion.

Sorry again, for rambling. Writing not only helps me share stories but express how I feel and it makes me feel better overall in the end. Like how people cry for hours when they're stressed and feel better afterwards. That's their stress reliever and this is mine.

I love to write and hopefully I'll get some inspiration soon.
