Long time no see? 😅
Sorry for not being very active on this book but I haven't had much to keep you guys updated with. But I just recently received my CD for, 'Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief Musical' and I decided to make a review about it.
Unfortunately I did not get to see the musical but once I heard word that we could order the cast album I immediately jumped to pre-order mine. I've heard so many good reviews about the musical and a simple way to say this, is that I was not disappointed. They got a few facts wrong in the lyrics like saying that Annabeth was from Virginia when Rick states that she's from San Fransico, California.
I don't see what was so hard about looking that up in the book. Other than that I really adore each song and the cast did an incredible job with it. I just wish that I could have seen the musical for myself. Percy Jackson has been a big part of my life, and I was really disappointed with the movies. I have a burning hatred for those two movies.
But based upon the music for this musical, these guys did it right! So even if you're like me and didn't get to see the musical, I still highly recommend purchasing the CD. It's fantastic.
