The sounds of heavy raspy coughs woke me up from my sleep abruptly. I shot my eyes open, looking to see Harry laying
in bed, his bare back facing me as he coughs away.I rub my eyes a bit as he lays on his side in a coughing fit. I sit up and blink a few times, seeing how it's morning. Harry still coughs, making me a bit worried.
"Hey.." I whisper comfortingly while resting my hand on his biceps, not even knowing if he's awake.
He timidly rolls onto his back, squint his eyes open a bit.
"Sorry did I wake you?" His voice is way raspier then usual, also sounding like his nose is plugged.
"Baby are you sick?" I ask while rubbing his chest, looking at his pale face. His chest is on fire.
"No, I don't get sick." He rejects while sniffling a bit.
"Harry you're coughing up a storm and you have a stuffy nose." I murmur.
"I'm just hungover." He defends with his scratchy voice.
I move my hand to his forehead, immediately feeling how it's on fire.
"You're burning up. You're like a furnace." I pull my hand back and rub his chest.
"I'm fi-" he turns over and starts coughing again, leaning over the side of the bed so he doesn't do it on me.
"Harry you're sick." I say while he slowly down his chest rattling coughs.
He looks back up at me with a pained look on his face.
"Okay maybe just a little." He groans.
"This is what you're going to do. You are gonna have a hot shower because you're all sweaty and gross, then you are staying in here all day so you don't pass this on to anyone else." My fingers trace over his fire skin.
"Baby I'm fine."
"No you're not. It's okay to be sick you know." I grin a bit while getting up to my feet on the cold ground.
"I don't wanna be sick." He murmurs like a child.
"No one does. I'll be right back." I instruct while grabbing my robe and putting it on.
I walk to the door and open it up, tying the robe to cover my body before walking down the hallway towards the bathroom. I get in there and turn on the shower, making sure it's hot so the steam fills the room in due time. I turn to the medicine cabinet and scan through it to find anything for him to take. I see his heart medicine and automatically grab that because he needs to take it anyway. Then I find some flu medicine and grab that too.
I walk back with the two pills in my hand, going back towards our room.
I open the door to see Harry laying on his stomach, his arms and legs sprawled out on the bed in his tight boxers. I walk to his side of the bed, partially sitting down on the edge near his waist. He opens his eyes to see me, his skin white as a ghost and sweat knitted in his hairline.
"Here." I hand him the two pills.
His eyes follow my hand to see the medication, making turn over and sit up a little bit. He groans as he lays against the headboard, shutting his eyes and sniffling.
"What are those?" He murmurs while keeping his eyes closed.
"Well ones your blood pressure medication, and the other is for the flu. It should help you headache and aches." I place my other hand on his hairy leg, rubbing it softly to sooth him.
"Thanks sweethe-" He starts coughing again into his fist, turning his head away from me.
"God it's really hitting you hard." I frown as I've never seen him so sick.
