chapter 4: found

A/n: this chapter starts a few hours after shiro told keith and lance that allura wanted the paladins in the training room and it continues where I left chapter 3 off where the paladins have been training for a few hours.

*a few vargas later- in the training room*
"Pidge, I forgot to ask is red fin-" Keith started
"Yes she's good as new" pidge said cutting keith off
"Thanks pidge, thanks hunk" Keith said
"No problem" Hunk said while lance, himself and pidge walked out leaving keith and shiro to train between them.
*5 minutes later*
"Princess, paldins the galra found us" Coran said his voice echoing all over the castle. Keith and shiro were in the training room having a brother spar between them but stopped when they heard Coran's voice. "They found us, but how we were 5 galaxies away from them" Princess Allura and continued to speak "Paladins get to your lions".
Keith and shiro, who were already in their paladin amour got to the control room and got to their hangers and into their lions. When the paladins were out Allura activated the particle barrier again and used the barrier defences to help the paladins fight the galra battleships and the paladins formed voltron once again and fought the battleships. Once all the battleships were defeated the central command retreated again. When the paladins returned to the castles control room Allura said "get some rest paladins you need it after 2 fights against the galra's central command".
*a few hours later*

Shiro woke up after about 2 hours of sleep and went to check on the others. Lance, Hunk and pidge were still sleeping. "They must be exhausted" Shiro said to himself. As shiro got to keith's door he heard water running. "Must be taking a shower". Shiro headed to the control room and Allura asked "did you sleep well shiro?"
"Yes thanks Allura"
"What about the other paladins?" Allura asked
"Hunk,lance and pidge are still asleep, they must be really tired and keith is awake and having a shower" Shiro said. Just then keith walked into the control room.
"Did you Sleep well?" Shiro asked
"Yeah, I'm going to see red" Keith replied
"OK bud" Shiro said and then keith went to the lift  (I don't know what it's called) that went to Red's hangar.
        ~In the training room~
"Start training level one" Shiro said after he activated his galra arm. A few seconds later tye gladiator robot fell from the roof of the training room and shiro started to fight the gladiator. After a few minutes the robot was defeated and shiro started level two.
   *meanwhile in Red's hangar*
"Hey girl, feeling better?" Keith asked and red responded with a purr. "You took a bad hit from the ion cannons but I'm glad pidge and hunk managed to fix you" Keith continued to say and again red let out another purr and it was like red was talking and keith found it comforting and it was like he was having a conversation and strengthening his bond with his lion.
             *in lance's room*
Lance woke up and paused the Spanish music that was playing which reminded him of his childhood, family and the music helped him sleep. "Well I got enough sleep and I feel refreshed"
Lance said to himself. He headed out to get food goo as he was hungry and when he passed the training room he heard Shiro say "Start training level five" and lance shook his head thinking he was still dreaming and carried on to the kitchen. After getting some food goo and sitting at the table Allura came in and asked "Where's shiro? He's been gone for two vargas"
Lance said "he's in the training room and he's on level five of thee gladiator, why?"
"Well he was in the control room and then left without saying where's he's going" Allura replied
"Where's keith because he's not in his room, the training room or anywhere" lance asked and Allura said "He's with red" and they went to the control room. "Oh, I just thought he'd be with shiro" lance said and then keith walked into the control room "Hey, I'm going to see shiro"
"He's in the training room" Allura said as keith was walking out.
        ~In the training room~
"Start training level ten" Shiro said
"Mind if I join you" Keith asked as he entered the training room
"No I could use help with this anyway" Shiro said as he was fighting the gladiator. Keith got his bayard and activated it and trained with shiro.
         ~Half an hour later~
"End training sequence" Shiro said and the gladiator disappeared and keith and shiro collapsed in the floor of exhaustion. "You two look tired" Hunk said as he walked into the training room
"I'm more tired than keith" Shiro said to the yellow paladin
"What level did get to?" Hunk asked
" level 10" Shiro replied
"Yeah, and I helped you with that level" Keith said
"You two should rest" Hunk said to the older paladins
"We're fine hunk,  really" Shiro said
"OK,  if you say so" Hunk said and the keith and shiro alone
"You want some food goo?" Shiro asked. Keith and shiro looked at each other and ran out the training room and to the training room racing like when they were kids. Keith beat shiro to the kitchen and keith said "I win"
"Just like when we were kids" Shiro said catching his breath
"Yeah, I was always faster " Keith replied. Once keith and shiro had caught their breath they both went and got some food goo and sat down and talked.
