Destinee is a young girl adopted by Charlie. Since she met Jacob, she had a crush on him. But you know that Jacob already had a crush on Bella. Will the girl with an unknown past and a soon to-be werewolf work out?
Note: I don't own anything except...
Edward looked on with concern as Carlisle finished setting Bella's hand in a splint. But the concern wasn't for her. Since Destinee's heart was broken, it was raining and thundering massively, without stopping. Rosalie sat at the counter and perused several newspapers, looking for an update. "Total misunderstanding. It's just a sprain, should heal fairly quickly." "Trying to walk and chew gum at the same time again, Bella?" Emmett mocked. "I punched a werewolf in the face", Bella stated proudly. "Bad ass... You're gonna be one tough little newborn." "Tough enough to take you on." Suddenly Rosalie slapped down the newspaper. "You don't get it do you? You don't see how she manipulates all of you? She is only playing. She did it to break Desti and she managed it in the best way. Look outside! That's the consequence we get out of it. And it may get worse. Edward you read Jacob's thoughts! You must know it the best!" She abruptly walked out, throwing a fierce scowl Bella's way and to Edward. Bella was starting to get nervous. "Don't worry about it." "Okay, any leads?" Edward changed the subject. "No sign of the intruder. But Victoria continues to make appearances", Jasper answered, glancing at Bella when he felt the nervousness. "She's toying with us. Keeping us distracted." "From Seattle?" Emmett asked. "Or the intruder. Or something else." "Alice can keep tracking her decisions but we have to track her on the ground." Tired of being ignored, Bella headed outside. "We've already cover the entire southern peninsula down to Quinault", Jasper said. "We'll search the northwestern trail."
For the next days it was Destinee who sat next to her window, sulking. Not even the training for the gymnastics finals could make her happy again. She was sulking like Bella did over Edward.
Only worse.

Destinee's POV
"I feel like I can't trust anyone anymore", I whined. "Don't think that. I'm still here for you and I always will. Anni and Yana are too. Do you want me to call one of them?" Dad asked. "Both." "Okay. Wait here then." He went downstairs to call them both and I was left sulking again. While I waited, dad made some food.

"Here sweetheart. Bon Appetit." "Thanks dad." Then the door bell rang. Dad went downstairs and opened the door. "She's upstairs", I heard. Then there were steps and seconds later my two best friends came in. "Oh dear." "We heard. Bad?" Anni asked. I nodded. They opened their bags and pulled out packs of chocolate ice and spoons. Yana had also some movies in her bag. I first ate the warm food (photo), then a bit of the chocolate ice. I was growing tired and dressed in my grey pajamas.

"We need to do something tomorrow", Yana said when we squeezed ourselves on my bed. "And what?" I asked. "Something to keep you from sulking. You really need to continue your training for the finals." "Good idea." "As long as it keeps her mind away from that guy..." They kept talking about ideas what we should do the next day and so they didn't notice that I was already dozing off.

"What did I say, about low profile?" Riley yelled. Riley, exasperated, stood next to a late model sedan that lied upside down in the dark street. Smoke came from the engine, a fire ignited. Inside the car, a woman screamed. "Something's coming... Something... Bigger than any of us alone. And if you can't... control yourselves... We're all going to die", Riley told them. A male newborn ignored him, as he pulled the screaming woman from the car and began to feed on her. Nearby, two other newborns fed on prizes of their own. Riley gave up. "What's done is done, just... clean up after yourselves." In the distance where four people, utterly motionless, looking down at the mayhem. They were the Volturi; Jane with her misleadingly angelic face, the hulking Felix, elegant Demtri and cherubic Alec. They all wore dark coats with hoods. Jane was calling the shots. "They've already drawn too much attention", Felix said. "So has our 'inaction'. Others may begin to question the Volturi's effectiveness", Demetri agreed. "Let them", Jane meant motionless. "Maybe we should consult with Aro." Jane shot Felix a look. Searing Pain was shooting through his body. Felix dropped to the ground, writhing silently. "Aro's decisions are being watched. We must decide." Alec carefully and gently touched her shoulder, interceding. "Then decide sister. It's time." Jane released Felix. Demetri helped him up. She smiled at Alec, utterly uncaring of the agony she just caused Felix. "Yes, it is. Either we let them do what they were created for... Or we end them. Decisions, decisions..." Riley then sensed something and looked up to where the Volturi had stood only a few seconds before. They were gone now.
