Calem x Reader

You tapped your fingers lightly on the table as you waited in Cafe Soleil. A friend of your asked you to meet him there after he met up with the professor along with his friends and neighbors. You didn't mind waiting, you didn't get your first Pokémon from the professor anyway.

The waitress asked if you were ready to order but you told her you were waiting on somebody. Carbink floated obediently at your side. Carbink loved mineral water, so you always would get it some.

You looked at the doorway when hearing a little bell. Calem walked in. He was wearing his normal blue jacket and pants combo, no hat. He looked better off without his red cap, or brung out his raven hair more without it. His blue eyes shine enough already.

"Calem!"

You waved him over and Carbink cheered, seeing the familiar kid. His partner was a little thing called Froakie, and it was super cute! Carbink loved to play with his new froakie. Calmer smiled and sent out his partner Pokemon as Carbink floated happily around the frog. Froakie grinned and started playing in the foyer of the cafe, a lot of other trainer's Pokémon also joining in on the fun. You couldn't help but giggle at this.

"Awww! Carbink stirring up trouble again!"

"It is a troublemaker. Anywho..."

Calem cleared his throat And took the seat across from you. You happily accepted his invitation when he gave it to you. He was your rival and crush after all. You ignored the Pokémon and tiny kids and focused completely on Calem.

"(Your name), I really like being rivals with you. I don't feel the need to be competitive though, not around you."

"Neither do I."

You smile warmly at him. The only reason you became rivals in the first place is because Clame felt the need for one.

"I want to be more."

"More? Like...."

"I want you to accompany me on my journey."

Was this happening?! Holy crap this was happening! Stay calm! What's the procedure? STAY FREAKING CALM!!!

"As your pal?"

"No. As my girlfriend."

You felt like throwing open a door Andy yelling at your best friend something like 'it was a date! There was singing and junk!' But this wasn't Adventure Time with Fiona and Cake. You gasped, hard. 

A group of people who were already in the cafe misinterpreted it for a marriage proposal and started clapping. You both were eleven! How could you get married?! It made the moment special regardless. All the Pokémon and children stopped and cheered too. This was so....cliché.

"Calem..."

Tears filled your eyes as a grin swept your face. He seemed on edge with your every motion.

"Yes?"

"Take me I'm yours."

"Re-"

You cut him off nu tackling him to the floor and kissing him smack dab on the lips. You pulled up for air afterwards And the dazed expression on his face was priceless. Oh yes this was perfect.
