Dancing, that is what he had in mind but not the kind of dancing Valerian had been expecting. No, Sebastian had taken her to a beautiful, quint place that was situated down a narrow alleyway. It was a club furished with gold and powder pink velvet, that had a live jazz band seven nights a week and people could either sit and listen to the music or slow dance on the small floor space that had been cleared for such activities. That was what Valerian and Sebastian were doing now, holding eachother and slow-dancing. It was so romantic. There club that night was not busy, except for a few locals sitting at the bar talking to eachother and another couple also dancing. "This place is amazing." Valerian whispered in Sebastian's ear, moving her hand to rest on the back of his neck. "It's absolutely beautiful, how did you even know it existed?"
He nuzzled at her hair, drawing Valerian closer. "I'm so glad that you're enjoying it. Well, I came here once when filming for Cap 1, Chris and I were being chased by fans, so we came in here for cover."
"Aah, and did you two enjoy dancing?"
She could sense him smirking into her hair. "I did but he kept stepping on my toes, Chris is not as elegant a dancer as you. I'm definitely enjoying dancing with you more." the tall, handsome male pulled away from his date slightly so that he could see her properly. "Did I say how beautiful you look tonight?"
Valerian could feel herself blushing again, not trusting her voice, she nodded. His eyes analysed her face for a moment before he smiled. "Did I managed to cheer you up?"
"No," his face suddenly moulded into a mask of shock. "you did even better, you made me forget him completely." Sebastian's smile returned.

On the way home, he had had to park his car a street away, due to the lack of spaces near her home. The elegantly dressed duo walked side-by-side on the damp pavement (it had been raining earlier but luckily for them, it was not now), neither really knew what to say to one another, so the just kept meeting eachother's gaze and smiling. Awkward indeed.
When they got to Valerian's front door, the slight brunette knew that she did not want the evening to end. "Sebastian...I was wondering, would you like to come in...for coffee?"
Thank goodness he smiled and agreed to, the attractive opposite sex was not bored of our nervous heroine yet! She led him through to the open plan kitchen, he sat at her dining table (somehow, him sitting there made the old, scratched piece of wood look chic rather than shabby), watching her put a kettle on to boil. After that, she moved to sit next to Sebastian, their knees just grazing eachother.
"I had a wonderful night." her voice was thick and husky. "I don't know how to thank you enough."
He leaned in closer, moving a stray hair back into place, causing shivers down her spine.. "You don't need to thank me, I had a wonderful evening too and if I'm honest, you actually gave me an excuse to get out of the house. For the last few weeks, all I've been doing is interviews for Cap 2 and staying shut up in my apartment, you forced me out of my routine."
"I'm glad that I could be of assistance." she mumured, leaning in closer to him. Their foreheads were now touching, the gap between them was slowly disappearing. Soon they were chest to chest, his arms entwining around her waist and hers looped around his neck. Their lips gently touched, both lovers feeling timid. Then their passion kicked in and they melted into eachother. The kiss was everything that Valerian had imagined it to be. Sebastian held her closer to his body, running his fingers through her locks, cupping Valerian's face. He moved from her lips to her neck, planting butterfly kisses agonisingly slow. Valerian moved her hands to Sebastian's lower back. When he bit her lip, Valerian was so shocked that she pulled away.
"I'm so sorry!" Sebastian blushed, clearly embarrassed.
Valerian realised that she had upset him and placed her hand to his cheek. "No, no, I-I-I didn't mean to flinch away. Kiss me again."
"What?"
"Seriously," she leaned in closer again, this time there would be no nerves. "kiss me."
And he did just that (only without the lip biting).
