리더's POV
I went down the bus that I rode from my hometown, Laguna. Thick smoke from cars were the first ones to greet me along with the burning feeling of the sunlight against my skin.
This is far from the life that I lived back home. But in order to survive in this hard world, I need to leave the life I've gotten used to. Because success won't come knocking on my door if I just accept laundry jobs. Hours of bowing down just for the price of P500 that will cover all of our expenses for a week or two. That was the summary of my life back there. Everything was hard especially since I didn't even get to finish my studies and being the eldest in all of my siblings, I am the one that my parents rely on.
I kept on thinking on where to start finding a dormitory or an apartment that I can stay in. But waves of hunger suddenly hit my system. I gently pat my stomach that has nothing in it aside from the candy that I bought before coming here to Manila.
Well looks like I will first have to find a small diner before finally going on and find a place to stay.
I snapped out of my trance when I saw a woman's coin purse fell down on the floor as she took something out of her purse bag. I quickly picked it up and ran after her.
"Miss, miss- your coin purse, it fell when you got something out of your bag that's why I took it- count the money inside, I didn't take anything there." I explained to the lady infront of me. Wow, she has milky white skin, big round eyes and cherry red lips. She really has a good body. She also seemed like my age. I suddenly felt a hint of embarrassment because of her beauty.
I saw that she went in and counted the money inside the coin purse and checked every pocket that has different kinds of cards. As she saw that it was complete, she looked at me with twinkles in her eyes.
"I didn't expect that there are still good people here in Manila. Thank you so much and here.." she said as she took out a P1000 bill and hands it to me.
"Please accept this as a symbol of my gratefulness."
I shrugged and gently pushed her hand, the hand that has the money.
"Miss, I can't accept that. I wholeheartedly returned it to you and I'm not waiting for anything in return." I explained as my rejection of the money.
"Please just take it." she insisted but I still replied with a strong rejection. She then gave up and returned her money back in her coin purse.
"It looks like I can't force you. Have you eaten lunch yet? Let's just eat together." She stated.
"No it's fine. I'm oka--" I didn't get to finish my sentence as my tummy grumbled like there's no tomorrow, like there's a monster inside looking for something to eat. I grew pale because of embarrassment then I went and caressed my hangry stomach (get it hungry + angry hihihi okay i'll stop)
I then heard her chuckle lightly.
"It seems like your stomach doesn't agree~ Don't be shy, come with me. I'm not a bad person and we'll just eat."
I didn't get to protest anymore as she pulled me to a restaurant- it was really big and there were lots of people eating there, there are also lots of food ready and it seems like there's a catering and a wedding going on.
"Just sit down, I'll take care of your food." She told me which I immediately obeyed. I saw her got food from different containers filled with different kinds of food.
She then returned to our table with two plates on her hands. The first one with so much food and the other with only just a small portion of food. She handed me the first one then she sat on the chair infront of me.
