Music plays such a big part when it comes to boosting confidence, increasing productivity or making you happy.
Here's my tip.
Don't listen music for the mood you are in but for the one you want to be in.
That means that you should listen to upbeat songs, those that induce a positive feeling from you even when you are feeling down, because this can have a huge effect on your mood.
But what music makes someone happy differs from person to person.
For example, I listen to Lana Del Rey when I am happy but a lot of people consider her sad. It's not about what others say, it's all about how the music makes YOU feel. If it makes you happy, stick to it.
Also, there are certain advantages to listening sad music.
Here's what research showed :
"The results revealed that the sad music was perceived to be more tragic, whereas the actual experiences of listening to the sad music induced them to feel more romantic, more blithe, and less tragic emotions ..."

In the end, you are the only one that can choose what music you want to listen to. My advice is to evaluate how a song makes you feel and choose whether or not you listen to it again when you are feeling low.

THANK YOU FOR 2.5K IN THIS STORY! I love you guys so much and I hope the book has helped you even just a little bit.
I decided to put both sides of the story in this chapter but I hope you guys liked it anyways. As I was looking this up a bit more, I realized that there was some research that contradicted what I thought and decided to include it here, so you can be the judge.
What music makes you happy? Let me know.
Hugs and Kisses,
J.
