WOLF QUEST

The Rescue

We spot about 15 humans, all beating the crap out of Jet.
Jet is laying helplessly on the dirt, whimpering in pain.
Snow barks and pile drives about 4 men to the ground.
Rip latches onto a mans ankle and tugs him to the ground, lunging at the man beside him.
Butch jumps right into the middle of the battle to protect Jet from further harm.
Patch pounces on a bunch of men, knocking them over.
I run in with Butch to help him. We attack the humans left and right, using every sense, every weapon, and every strategy to take them down.
I hear another gunshot, then i hear Butch yelp.
“I'm hit!” Butch shrieks
I latch onto a mans hand as he reaches to grab me, I hear a sickening crack and the man screams.
“Death! I know it isn't your job! But please! Help us!” I beg him
In less than a split second, Death's large black wings can be heard from above us. He lands beside Butch and I. Death stands protectively over Jet.
Some idiot from the crowd of humans then decides to shoot Deaths wing.
Death slowly looks over at the man. “You can't be serious...”
The man looks down at his gun, then back up at Death and shrugs.
Death sighs and shakes his head. The man then falls to the ground.
We all take a moment to realize the man is dead.
The other men exchange horrified glances.
“Who are you?” another asks
“Your death...” he says, voice low and evil while he smirks at the man who'd asked.
One by one all the men surrounding us dropped to the dirt.
Death snaps his fingers and Jet and Butch are both instantly healed.
Butch and the others walk behind me as I stand before Jet.
Jet looks up at me from the floor. Guilt and despair filled in his eyes. “You came back for me...”
“That's just what alpha's do..., they protect their pack..., from anything...”
Jet stands up and lunges at me, hugging me tightly.
I hug him back. “No matter what happens..., I will never abandon my pack..., that's another blood promise...”
Snow chuckles. “Yeah I saw that tough guy...”
Jet and I look over to see Death turn away and sniffle. “I need to sneeze!”
