♡He Leaves Without Saying Goodbye♡(Ethan)

Ethan got up carefully from the bed, hoping not to wake you. Today was the day he was going to Jersey with his twin brother Grayson and best friend Jake Paul.

He ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower, brush his teeth, and get changed. Grabbing the suitcase from both of your shared closet, he looks over at you sleeping peacefully.

He wanted to let you know he was leaving, but didn't want to wake you. So instead, he took his notebook out and wrote a little note.

I left for Chicago already. I wish I could've said goodbye, but I didn't want to wake you up my angel. There's food in the fridge, and I already did the laundry for you :) I love you so much, and I'll be back in two days. I'll text you the days I'm gone and make sure to call me. Love you,

He placed it on the drawer next to the bed, planting a small kiss on your forehead.

"See you in two days." He whispered. It was hard for him to leave, because he didn't want to leave you. He was afraid something bad would happen, he wanted to be here to protect you.

But he had no choice. He was going to ask his family for advice on how to propose to you. You've been dating for about seven years, now you both were 24 and lived in an apartment together.

He opened the door to leave, taking one last glance at your room. He blew a kiss, shutting the door quietly behind you.

But little did he know, the air was on. And when something light, like paper, it could easily be blown away. The air vent was right next to the desk, where the note was.

The air reached it, blowing it away. The note fell behind the desk, barely visible for anyone to find...

~~3 Hours Later~~

You woke up shivering from the air. Ethan always turned it on because he said he was 'hot'. Although he was referring to his appearance, and even took his shirt of to show his abs and impress you, (like always).

"Ethan, turn the air vent off." You muttered, eyes still closed.

"Ethan." You said stronger. You slapped your hand across the other side, thinking you would meet the body of your loving boyfriend. But your arm fell right to the mattress, making you jump. You squinted your closed eyes, now confused.

You looked over, opening your sleeping eyes. Ethan was gone. You panicked for a second, thinking something must've happened. But it hit you.

Ethan said he was leaving for Chicago tomorrow yesterday night before you fell asleep. Today is tomorrow.

Ethan had left without saying goodbye, which made your heart sink. There were no recent messages or calls on your phone, no notes or anything.

You explored the house, looking for any sign of a message from Ethan. He never said a goodbye, you never gave him one either.

You cried, your eyes stinging and heart in pain. You slid down the wall, your head in your knees. You wrapped your arms around your legs, head resting in your knees.

Your lover never woke you or left anything behind. Did he think you were too clingy? Did he want to leave in peace without you being so noisy or a lot? The more you thought of this, the more your heart broke.

You called your best friend, asking for her to come over. She said yes, and came over in just under five minutes.

You told her everything, eventually breaking down again. She comforted you, angry at the fact that Ethan had broken you. He broke you, and left you to feel bad.

Ethan called a few times, but you never answered.

While they were waiting at the airport , Ethan kept calling you. He was getting worried, and even texted you. No response.

It broke his heart as well. You always answered.

This all happened, because of the air, pushing away the one note Ethan had left for you. It was as if the universe was upset, and turned back on you two.

You cried the whole day, your bff there by your side.

He had left, without saying goodbye, you thought.

She never responded, he thought.
