♡His Ex-Girlfriend (Ethan) pt.2♡

I told my brother to grab the baseball bat and go upstairs. The banging got louder and louder as I got closer and closer. I took my umbrella, my heart racing straight out of my chest.

I quickly opened the door, gasping until I realized it was Ethan.

"Ethan? Why were-"

"Just shut the door!" I pushed the door closed locking it.

"What's going on? Is someone after you?" Ethan breathed heavily as if he ran a whole marathon. Which he must've, trying to get to my house fast.

"Do you know- how- crazy. Your ex's- can- be?" He said between breaths.

"Well I mean yeah. They are sometimes, have you seen horror movies?" I checked on my brother, who was scared out of his mind. I hugged him tight.

"It's okay buddy. Just Ethan." I whispered.

"I want mommy and daddy." He said.

"They'll come back. They're just at dinner. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you." He smiled nodding.

I put him to sleep in his bed, handing him his brown stuffed teddy bear.

I walked back to my room, watching as Ethan pulled his wet sweatshirt off of him.

"So could you please explain to me what happened?" I asked.

"Yeah." Ethan sat on my bed as I stood in the doorway.

"My ex broke up with me because she thought I wasn't like all her friends' boyfriends."

"What?! That's stupid!"

"Right? But of course to her it was 'the right feeling'. Her friends make their boyfriends carry their shopping bags. Make the boys write them all lovey dovey stuff on Valentine's Day. For weeks I felt bad, cause I thought I was the bad guy. Then I met you, and I knew. I should've been the one who broke up with her." I walked over and sat by him, lifting my hands to his face.

"You are an incredible boyfriend. That ex of yours must be blind to let you go. A guy like you, who's strong, smart, and incredibly irresistible. I love you, because you act like you. And no one ever changed you." He put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me in for a hug.

"I love you too, y/n." As he kissed my forehead, I looked back up at him.

"Who's your ex anyway?" I asked. Ethan sighed.

"Sarah Johnson." I gasped. Ethan looked at me.

"What?" He laughed.

"I don't think she knew you had me as your girlfriend."

"Oh... AHAHHAHAAH!" Ethan laughed so hard as I punched his shoulder.

"Hey!" Ethan said.

"I could've been killed by her today at the mall! That's nothing to laugh about!" But he continued laughing.

We fell back on my bed, snuggling as the storm went on outside.
