Pick Up Lines

"What?" I yelled as I read the sign.

I walked up to the window and looked inside. My eyes widen as I discovered that the place was empty.

My favourite coffee shop has been sold to Harbucks.

I backed up and felt a huge pounding in my head. If I don't get coffee fast, I'm going to get a migraine. I can't mourn now.

I pulled out my phone and look for the closest coffee shop. The closest one is only five minutes away. Thank god. I put my earbuds in and start walking.

Once I reach the unfamiliar coffee shop, I walk in. The warm air hits me and I feel relaxed. The place smells of coffee, which calms me.

I pulled my scarf down and take an earbud out. I look up at the menu and tilt my head. The menu is huge.

"Welcome! May I take your order!" I looked over at the counter and see a short brunette waving at me.

I walked up and looked at the menu again. Why am I looking at the menu? I know what I'm getting.

"C-Can I get a large black coffee, please?" I asked.

"Nice pick." The barista said as he punched it in the cashier, "That'll be 2.50. Will you pay with cash or debit?"

"Uh, cash." I replied as I took out my change.

The brunette took the change, "Thank you! Your order will be called out in a minute."

"Thanks." I replied.

I looked around and found a sign that said pick up. I walked over and I was met with a tall noirette.

"B-Black coffee?" He asked as he put the coffee down.

"Thank you." I said as I took it.

I went to the bar table near the window and sat down. I pulled out my laptop and started to study for my test.

There was a burst of laughter and I turned to the source. There were two guys and one girl behind the counter all laughing and one was glaring at them. It was the tall one who was glaring at them.

He looked at me. I felt panicked and looked away. That was odd.

After around ten minutes, I left.

When I reached school, I went to my lecture and met up with Bebe and Wendy.

"Hey Tweek!" They both greeted.

I set my stuff down and sighed. First rule of university, always get to your lecture early. Wendy always says this but it's so boring being early.

Wendy and Bebe started talking until Bebe let out a loud gasp. Wendy and I gave her a confused look.

"Tweek! How come you didn't tell us!" Bebe said.

"About what?" I asked.

"Wait, you didn't even see it yet?" Bebe asked.

Wendy looked at me and raised an eyebrow, "The only difference is that his hair looks more tamed today."

"Thanks, I guess?" I said.

"No! Guys, look at the coffee cup!" Been smiled big, "It's so cute!"

I lifted up my cup and looked around it. I almost rotated it all around before I spotted what Bebe was freaking out about. One of the baristas must have written this.

The coffee is hot but you're hotter - C

"T-This must be a prank!" I panicked, "They were l-laughing as I sat down!"
