During a Battle, Sayyiduna Akramah (ra), Sayyiduna Harith Bin Hisham (ra) and Sayyiduna Suhail Bin Amr (ra) fell on the ground wounded.
Sayyiduna Akramah (ra) asked for some water but when the water brought, he saw that Sayyiduna Suhail (ra) was staring at it.
He said:
"�Give it to Suhail first."�
When the water was brought to Sayyiduna Suhail (ra), he saw that Sayyiduna Harith (ra) was staring at it.
He said: "�Give it to Harith first.�"
As a result of this none of them could drink the water and laid down their life in want of water.
The noble companions, keen to heed the advice of the Messenger, exemplified selflessness because prophet said:
“None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother, what he loves for himself” (Bukhari and Muslim)
