Chapter 29:

        Scott and I went to Allison with Ethan and Aiden after picking up Demi and Riley, and I was bombarded by Derek's scent. Nattalia screamed in delight when she saw me and I took her from Lydia who was in awe by her.

        "What are you guys doing with Nattalia?" I asked them.

        "Uh Peter kind of had a conflict with Allison. She electrified him and I didn't want to leave Nattalia there so we took her." Lydia said.

        "Of course." I sighed.

        "So what's the plan?" I asked.

        "Well we are going to hijack the car that is transferring the evidence." Allison said.

        "How are we going to do that?" I asked.

        "Allison has a tracker and if she can get it on the car we'll be set. We follow the car and Aiden and Ethan-" Lydia was cut off by Ethan.

        "Will attack the driver."

        "No, you will create a distraction then Scott and Connor will grab the finger."

        "Uh Connor is pregnant." Aiden stated.

        "True, well this is the best we've got." Allison said.

        "Why don't I try explaining it all to my dad?" I suggested.

        "You honestly think he'd believe us?" Scott exclaimed.

        "Scott, he's been exposed now. We'd have to tell him sooner or later."

        "What if this plan doesn't work? What's your backup plan?" Riley audaciously asked Scott and Demi just nodded in agreement.

        She came off as someone who was afraid to speak; Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

        "We have to get going." Allison said then we all went to leave, but Kira was at the door.

        "What are you doing here?" Scott asked her.

        "I want to help," she stated then I nodded and we all left for the station.

        "I'm going inside," I said as Scott, Kira, Allison, and I were waiting in the back of the police station.

        "For what?" Kira asked me.

        "My fiancé and Chris are being framed for murder. There is no way I'm leaving them in there."

         I went to go inside, but Scott grabbed me and Kira went in to do whatever it is she was supposed to do then an officer came out and was inspecting the surroundings of the car after hearing Kira. My alpha hearing zoomed in on something inside the car.

"There's someone in-" I was cut off by the doors being flung open and a huge guy stepping out of the vehicle with the finger.

        The officer lay on the ground knocked out and I noticed Kira on top of the car waiting to pounce. Scott, Allison, and I walked out into the open.

        "We need that finger" Scott said.

        "And what makes you think that I am going to hand it over to you?" The guy retorted.

        "Let's put this as nicely as possible," I said then I flicked out my claws and shifted my eyes so they were glowing.

        "Is that supposed to scare me?" He laughed then I growled and Kira jumped down on top of him, but he backed up and knocked her out.
