First and foremost i can see the influences of a game on this. Because it feels like the set up for a really crazy Japanese game. I mean with all the characters having a single trait which defines them(by the way i found that rather creative) except maybe the main character. I don't know how deeply they'll delve into each character.
Though,then you have the setting. A school where all these teens are trapped, which for the premise of the anime works well since the isolation will make the students want to kill each other. Speaking of that the villain is who we really need to talk about because he was awesome. He's basically a teddy bear who feeds off of despair, and is ready to relish in children murdering each other. I really wanna know about him. Rather he's being controlled by a madman, or he is a supernatural force. I mean what kind of sick monster just forces kids to kill each other? He's the character i just have questions about.
Overall: for an opening episode it was pretty good. Even being dubbed. Overall: 8/10
