Boy is it sad i tell you. This will be my main focus on the review. I will gibmve a summary still, but i really wanna go into detail. Well this episode starts with Mamo and Usagi looking for Chibi Usa. They find her sitting on the swings thinking things over. This results mainly in Chibi calling Mamoru her boyfriend and making Usagi jealous in the process. Also you see her families funny, if not sweet reaction to Mamoru. This is the last moment of humor in this episode as the rest is rather dramatic. Starting with Mamoru seeing a vision that foretells of Usagis death in the future of Crystal Tokyo. Afraid of this future, Mamo decides to break up with Usagi for good reason. That didn't make it any less of a heartbreaker.Upon hearing this Usagi is concerned and goes to Mamorus place. I'll let this scene speak for itself.
TThis scene is so sad that even Chibi Usa is in tears, and by the time she broke into tears in the phonebooth, i did the same. For the the first time since the Sailor Scouts death i couldn't find any humor. Even as the monster tries to take over a main crystal Tokyo point for the Dark Moon, Usagi stands up to her saying she didn't need make up to make Mamo like her. She had it all wrong,Though this servant is centered around make up and is creative. As is Usagis speech in the episode though i got to relook at that earlier. Then Mamo shows up as Tuxedo Mask and saves her as well making up an excuse that Usagi is to weak. Of course this is only to protect her, but still inspires Usagi to. Vow to become stronger..
This episode..... Was just so sad. I love Usagis personality making her emotions quite close to a real person. Overall a true 10/10 legendary episode
