What can i say except. It had its moments, yet the classic still beat it by a long shot. The thing about Crystal is its Animation while modern is still kinda cheap and obviously The transformations are the major budget part. Sailor moon classic is from 1992 so it was drenched in it and had a very unique vintage that you'll always remember. You bring that into modern day with this animation and its kinda cringe. The writing also feels less clever. There was far less comedy. Both are Viz dubs, but the Japanese writer is different as Crystal tries to stick to the manga and has to update certain things to fit a modern audience. The whole pacing felt a tad fast and kinda made my head hurt. Other than that the voices are good being the same ones from the classic redubbing and the story while off in pace is still faithful.
I'd honestly give Crystal about 7/10 wise of this story line and the classic a 9/10
Both are good. Yet the classic is better
