Together Aibileen, Minny and Skeeter form an unlikely friendship.
REVIEW: I loved this book so much, and to me it felt like I was reading something more important than just a book. I was so moved, so inspired and so uplifted by this book. The characters are beautifully written and so loveable, and the plot never dulls despite the fact it's written in a somewhat dull world that surrounds a majority of these characters where change seems impossible at the start of the novel.
I loved the small details in the novel, I loved the whole of it. It was gripping and exciting, and I'm definitely going to be reading this again soon. It was one of those books I didn't want to end, I wanted to remain wrapped up in this world and see into these people's lives. I want to know more about the minor characters, about their lives and what happens next to all of them.
FINAL VERDICT: Yes. This book is just 100% yes. It's got it, it's got that thing in a book that I love.
