Chapter 25: Path Revealed

Sorin looked away, as if he didn't want to tell me my past.

"Sorin, like you said. It's meant for me to know." I told him.

Nodding his head, Sorin looked at me.

"When you were young, I was still romaing around Innistrad at the time. Mikaeus had been keeping you a secret from me for a while. I only found out about you when the village was being attacked." Sorin said.

"Attacked? You mean, the zombies." I said.

Sorin nods his head again. "Correct. The zombies weren't just beings who came back to life from the ground. Someone, a necromancer as you can say, summoned them."

So, a necromancer... He must mean that...

"The Necromancer is Liliana, right?" I asked.

"That is right. Liliana had attacked Innistrad. She wasn't aware of your existence at the time. Only when I had saved you from Mikaeus was she aware that you were the key." Sorin explained.

Looking down at what I'm hearing, I couldn't help but feel sad.

"So, Mikaeus..." I paused, looking at him.

Sorin closed his eyes. "He died. At least I thought he did. I don't know what happened after I had saved you. But, Mikaeus roams around Innistrad."

"But, you said he died." I told him.

"Yes, he is dead. He's now a zombie and roams Innistrad." Sorin explained.

Hugging myself, a few mixed feelings were hitting me. I wanted to cry, but I know nothing about my past. About my time with Mikaeus.

I slowly got up and touched my forehead. "Well, I got a small bump. But, I'll be alright."

Sorin watched as I got up, and he got up as well. "Are you feeling better?"

"Yup. Sorin... Thank you. I really wished you didn't hide things from me. But, I now understand why you didn't want to tell me back then." I said.

I wanted to say more, but...

"Blossom! There are Eldrazi's attacking us!" Someone yelled.

That voice. Jace?!

"Yes, it appears that this cave is filled with them! Blossom, you and Sorin have to find a way to stop the Eldrazi's. This cave, something is in charge of the Eldrazi's righ now. Avoid them at all costs." Jace told me.

Y-Yes... I understand.

"What is it?" Sorin asked.

I started to make my way deeper in the cave. "Jace encountered Eldrazi's. He said that something is in charge right now. We have to avoid them."

Sorin followed me and he proceeded with caution.

I have found out a few things about my past. But, I can't fully ask. Where did I come from? Who left me under Mikaeus' care? I don't feel like I'm related to him. Someone... Must have left me. Only clues I have... Is that I can talk to Eldrazi's and that... I may be able to see the future or the past...?

Something then came to mind.

"Sorin." I turned to him.

"Hm?" He stopped walking and looked at me. "What is it?"

The thought of this seemed a bit strange but...

"Is there a possibility... That I may be an Eldrazi myself?" I asked. "I know nothing. I don't know how I came into Mikaeus' care. I could be his relative maybe? But, my powers of being able to speak with Eldrazi's... It isn't normal. I still haven't come to accept this."
