Chapter 24: Christmas and Meeting Each Others Families Part 2

Wes' P.O.V.- 

I walked into work this morning and when I got to Shelby's cubicle, I found her looking at the comments section of the video that we recorded yesterday. "Hey babe," I said to Shelby, "Are the majority of those comments nice?" "Hello Wesley," Shelby replied, "and yes, the majority of the comments are nice. There are a few that are kind of nasty towards Marinki and you, because they are Wesari shippers and not Marhinki shippers, but other than that, its mostly congrats comments to you, me and Marhinki." "Well that is good," I said in return before kissing Shelby on the cheek and going into the recording room. When I entered the recording room, I ended up having to do lots of recording with the gang because I wanted to leave town with in the next two days with Shelby. We recorded some Maricraft, some game bangs, some GTS', and some Friendly Fire. After recording, I went to Shelby's cubicle and asked her if she wanted to leave tomorrow for Cincinnati so we could spend 2 weeks with my family and then spend two weeks with her family and when I asked her, her face lit up like a Christmas tree and she got really excited, which I assumed meant yes to leaving tomorrow for Ohio. After talking to Shelby, I went back to the recording room and I told the others that Shelby and I would be leaving for Ohio tomorrow morning and that we wouldn't be back until January 5th or 6th, depending on when we could get a flight out of Michigan. Since Shelby and I wanted to leave tomorrow, Matt Raub let us leave work early so that we could pack for our trip and purchase our tickets for our flights to Cincinnati and out of Cincinnati to Flint, Michigan. As I drove Shelby back to her and Mari's apartment, she looked for tickets to Cincinnati from LAX and then tickets from Cincinnati to Flint, Michigan. When we arrived at Shelby and Mari's place, Shelby had found and booked the tickets for our flight to Cincinnati tomorrow and the tickets for our flight from Cincinnati to Flint on the 22. After Shelby booked the flights, we went into her apartment and I helped her pack a suitcase and a carry on for the flight to Cincinnati. After I helped Shelby pack her bags, we went to my place and we packed some bags for me for the next 4 weeks. After packing our bags, I asked Shelby what time our flight was the next morning and she said that our flight out to Cincinnati wasn't until 05:30 Pacific Standard Time. Since my place is closer to LAX, Shelby spent the night at my place so that I wouldn't have to waste time the next morning picking her up at an ungodly hour.
