You start humming as you prepare breakfast for the Overwatch team. Your humming becomes singing and your singing gets louder and louder. You've must've lost track on what you were doing because you were singing like you were alone. Of course, you weren't and you've always hated singing in public.
Finally finishing all the plates of each hero's desire, you turn around, discovering all of them staring at you with wide eyes. Suddenly, they burst with cheer and applaud.
"H-Huh?" You blush in embarrassment.
"Dude! That was some sick singing!" D.Va patted you on the back.
"Y/N, I didn't know you could sing like that!" Lucio exclaimed.
"Well, I...." You started but you were too flattered to think of anything to say. Lucio smiled and went to eating with everyone else.
After that, you started to develop feelings for him. No, you can't. Not with an ally. You bring yourself back to reality and head up to your room.
- Later -
You hear a knock on your wooden door. Getting up, you walk over and open it for them. It was Lucio.
"Hey, I wanted to let you know that I'm having a live concert tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to sing in it." He said with a hopeful expression.
"Wow, really? Of course! I would love to!" You exclaim and clap with your hands. You realize this means you would have to sing in front of people but you would never pass up a chance like this.
Lucio seemed relieved and said his thanks as he left.
- The Concert -
After practicing several times, you were ready. The concert began in 10 minutes. You could feel the rush of blood in your body as you were excited as ever. Heroes gathered in the seats which made you quite nervous.
"Alright, are y'all ready?" Lucio said into the mic.
The crowd cheered as they knew Lucio's music is the best. He looked to you and smiled assuringly which brought your courage up.
You put on your headset and start singing, not as loud at first. The beats from the speakers fired you up and you tried your best to match up your dancing as well. Now, you had no hesitation.
At some points, Lucio would join in on the song but what surprised you most was that all the heroes would sing along too.
When the song finished, you were nearly out of breath but proud of yourself. You and Lucio went off stage.
"That was amazing, Y/N!" He exclaimed.
"Aww, thanks. But your music is extremely good!" You say with a blush tinted on your cheeks.
Without responding, he grinned and hugged you closer. At that moment, he put his lips on yours, making sure to be gentle. You were struck with surprise but you were glad to be with him.
When you pulled back, Lucio patted your head and skated away.
- The Next Morning -
You feel something extremely cold on your face. You grumble and open up your eyes to see who was disturbing you. Mei stood in your room.
"Y/N! It's already 12:00!" She said worriedly.
"What? R-Really?" You jump up to change. Soldier 76 is going to be so mad. This is the third time I've slept in this week. I can't help it!
Rushing downstairs and into the lobby, you see everyone waiting impatiently.
"Where were you?" 76 grumbled. You whimpered at his grouchiness and anger.
"S-Sleeping?" You punch yourself for stuttering.
"Leave her be, Soldier, it's not like she's made us late!" Lucio defended. 76 sighed and left you two be.
"Thank you." You say quietly and he nods.
- In Battle -
Come on, you were almost there to the checkpoint. The map was Ilois (yes the one with the hole in it) and the team was just about to win. Suddenly, you feel the wind blow past you stronger than regularly as you see that you've gotten a boost of speed. Not prepared, you plunge down the hole of the checkpoint.
"Whoops." Lucio said guiltily.
You respawn with a 'really' expression.
"Heheh, sorry Y/N-" Lucio started but you shushed him by pressing your lips on his.
"Save it."
