Here is my Genji drawing :3
Writing this in case no one makes any requests ;-;
Your POV (Point of View)
I didn't join Overwatch too long ago. It's actually pretty nice, I've made a lot of new friends. I didn't have much from the beginning but that doesn't matter now because D.Va, Mei, Lucio, Tracer, and Junkrat have welcomed me and became close friends to me.
But...there's someone I want to meet. Surprisingly, I don't even know his name yet and I'm almost certain he doesn't know mine either. I wonder what he looks and sounds like because I've never gotten close enough to know. Plus, he's a ninja so I can't get the chance.
I glance in his direction. He seems to be talking to Hanzo. Once, I think someone has told me they were brothers. I want to go up to him but I honestly don't have to courage to.
I sigh and continue eating snacks with D.Va. Without precaution, he comes to me instead.
"Do you have a moment?" The green ninja asks. My eyes widen and I look at D.Va. She nods.
"S-Sure!" I get up and walk with him out the door.
"Your name. It's Y/N. Right? Hanzo told me." He said. I notice his voice was really soothing and calm. I like it.
"Yes, it is! Sorry, I don't know yours. Mind telling me?" I ask excitedly.
"It's Genji. Nice to meet you." He extended his arm and held out his metallic hand.
I gladly shook it. "Yeah, you too! I-I hope we can get to know each other better!" I blush as he makes an exit.
Could it be that I have developed a liking to him? No, I shouldn't, he's my ally and I would get rejected anyways.
- The Next Morning -
"Alright! Time to start training!" I exclaim with determination. Just when I pull out my weapon, a shuriken flies by me, nearly impaling my head.
I scream and duck for cover. A familiar chuckle was given behind me. I get up and turn around, finding the ninja standing there.
"Genji! Don't scare me like that!" I roll my eyes. He grabs my arm and looks at my H/C hair. I can't tell what expression he has at the moment because of that mask. Urging to find out what he looks like, I turn to him.
"Hey, Genji-" But he has already left.
Genji's POV
Hm. Y/N is really...cute. I really like her/him. But...I think I may have a feeling. I can't express it but I have this feeling every time I see her/him. What is it? Do I....no, it can't be.
- Later That Night -
I see Y/N standing by the sakura trees. She looks very pretty next to it and in front of the colored evening sky.
I walk up to her, careful not to disturb her peacefulness. Before I could get to her, she noticed me.
"Hey Genji." She said with a soft voice. How? How did she hear me?
"You sensed me coming?" I ask.
"O-Oh, it's an ability I have. I guess you can say I can see people from behind." She scratches her head.
"Then how come you didn't see me coming at the training room?" I wondered out loud.
"I can only activate it manually. Plus I.....nevermind. Would you..want to sit by me?" Y/N blushed a little and looked away.
I agreed and plopped down on the soft grass next to her. She then looked at me sternly. I was worried if I did something wrong.
"Genji. Take of your mask." Y/N demands.
"Why?" I ask but I was a little insecure of what she would think of me.
"Because I want to see you." Before I could say anything else, she quickly takes my mask off herself. Y/N sat there, speechless. I feel my cheeks getting hot. She/He not showing any sign of expression.
"Y/N-"
"You're really...attractive." She/He blurted out but quickly put a hand over her/his mouth. I just now notice wrapped bandages from her/his hand down to her elbow but I shrug it off.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say that! I mean you are but I- Um.." Y/N stuttered with embarrassment.
Your POV
Why did I do that? He's probably really annoyed. The cringe. Maybe I should leave and go back to my room. I'm tired anyways.
My thoughts were interrupted with a pair of lips on my mouth. I was shocked but I just let it happen. Genji was kissing me. I decided I would kiss back but gently like he was doing.
When we pulled back, we were both extremely red.
"I didn't know you felt this way." I smiled.
"Same for you." He looked up to the sky. I looked up ask well. It was orange and pink. A really nice blend in the upper atmosphere. The perfect kind of day for love.
- A Month Later -
"Yeah? Well why don't you think about how I feel?" I ask furiously. Genji and I got in a fight this morning and we've been arguing since.
"I am! But I'm telling you that it's not that big of a deal anyways." He sighed.
"Not that big of a deal? Are you kidding me?" I was pretty irritated at this point and held back the bloodlust.
"No, I'm not. What do you have to say?" He turned around, crossing his arms.
"That you're a piece of shit for doing that." I said coldly.
"That's it!" Genji swung back, pulled out his sword and sliced for me. I raised my arms for defense and closed my eyes, waiting for the pain. To my surprise, I only felt a little on my arm. It looks like he realized the mistake he made before he could hit me hard enough to do a lot of damage.
When I look up at him, he was frozen. I was confused until I realized that there was something on the floor. My bandages.
It has revealed my scars that cover all over my arm. It was very gruesome looking so I quickly covered it up.
"Y/N, I..." Genji started but stopped when he saw me tearing up.
"Guess you found my secret." I whispered with no emotion as hot tears fell down my face.
He walked to me and put a hand to my cheek and lifted my head up so he could see me.
"Y/N. It's okay. You didn't have to hide this. In fact, I have a secret too." I say soothingly.
"What's that?"
"I love you."
"....I love you too."
Author's Note: hehe that's it for this one. I hope you enjoyed it, please leave a request on the page before this one! Or I guess on this page if you're too lazy. Anyways, thanks for reading!
Oh yeah. If you're wondering what started the fight between Genji and I, it's because he ate all my Doritos.
