Yep, it's an update, on Thursday. THURSDAY. You didn't see it wrong, this is an update. Enjoy.

Frank's POV

I was strolling  around on the deck with Hazel. Well, we were determined to spend our last days together, well before Gaea rises on the August 1st which is the day after tomorrow.

"Frank." I turned to looked at Hazel, my beautiful, sweet Hazel.

"Yeah?"

"I'm scared. What if we fail, and Gaea actually rises. What if because of the fact that we failed, the world rises into havoc? What if someone...dies? What if Pluto takes my soul back to the Underworld after the war?

I looked at her frightful golden eyes that shone in the shining light of the sun. I held both of her hands.

"Hazel. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm scared as well, I always was. I mean my life depends on a stick. But when I met you, that feeling was gone. It was replaced with protection and love. I love you, Hazel. For all you are. And we're never going to separated ever again." By this point Hazel had tears in her eyes.

"And we won't fail, the prophecy said so. Nobody is going to die either, Piper, Jason, and Leo went to the get the Physician's Cure, and you know that bunch. They arent ones to fail, so nobody is dying. And if you die, I'm going to die with you."

Hazel hugged me and said, "I love you too, Frank."

I felt a huge relief spread through my chest. I had finally confessed my true feelings to her, and guess what?—it was mutual.

For the rest of the day, we just enjoyed each other's presence until the sun was dawning.

Festus's alarm suddenly rung, signaling someone is aboard. I quickly let go of Hazel and took out my bow, ready to attack whoever is intruding the ship. With Hazel right behind me holding her spatha, we walked around the ship in stealth.

We went to the boarding area, and Annabeth was already there, talking to someone. Who was she talking to? I inched a bit closer. It was Leo, Piper, and Jason.

I relaxed. "C'mon Hazel," I said. "They're back." And we walked towards them.

"Hey guys." Hazel said. "You're back."

Piper smiled. "Hazel, Frank, we were wondering where you were for a few minutes."

My face turned a bit red. "When we heard Festus's alarms go on, we thought it was some intruder, so I'm sorry that we thought you were monsters, and that's why it took so long......"

Jason, who now has glasses, laughed. "Hey, it's better to be safe than sorry."

"I was thinking the same thing. I was telling Leo that we shouldn't just board on the ship, but he insisted that Festus knows his own creator and there won't be any alarms. But look what happened." Piper said.

"Hey!" Leo shouted in protest. "Festus does know. He merely signaled the alarms to tell everyone that his best pal is back on the ship."

We all rolled our eyes but we kept on smiling.

"So did you get the cures?" Annabeth asked.

"Yep." Leo said. He patted the sack that was hanging on his tool belt. "They're in there, alright. But let's go to the Mess Hall for the grand opening."
