Chapter 68: Concussion

Andys POV:

I sat next to Hailey holding her hand whispering how much I missed her. It's been just over a week that she's been in a coma and I miss her more and more everyday. I miss seeing her bright, happy eyes and hearing her sweet voice

"Hailey..." I whispered and squeezed her hand. Her eyes shit open and her heart monitor went crazy. I stood up as doctors ran in and I got pushed out of the room. What's going on? Is she awake? I paced in the hallway for what felt like forever until a doctor came out

"Mr. Biersack, Ms. Fitzgerald seems to have woken up from her coma. We calmed her down and told her what had happened. You may go see her if you'd like." I nodded a thanks and ran back into her room. Hailey was sitting up slightly in her bed and looking around holding her head. I smiled

"Hailey.. You're awake." She looked at me and her face lit up

"Andy! You're okay!!" I nodded smiling bigger and sat down next to her. She grabbed my hand and I squeezed it

"How're you feeling babe?"

"My leg hurts like a bitch." I chuckled and kissed her hand. Her eyes lit up more and she blushed. A doctor walked back in and flipped through a pad of paper

"Ms. Fitzgerald, your vitals seem to be normal but you have a concussion. Not severe but we'd prefer you take things easy. Your leg is broken in 2 different places but we've taken care of that. Other than that, your good, but you will have to stay here for a week." She nodded and I thanked the man as he left

When I turned back to Hailey, she was staring at my face. Specifically my lips. I smirked and leaned in slowly. She blushed and our lips collided molding with each others. I cupped her cheek deepening the kiss. I pulled away and smiled

"I love you.." She smiled back

"I love you too."

Haileys POV:

I missed Andy so much. When he kissed me, it felt like it was the first time again. I hope I can get out of here as soon as possible. Have I ever told you how much I hate hospitals? I hate them with a deep firry burning passion

"What am I going to do for the next week here? I don't want to stay in this bed the entire time." I looked at Andy who shrugged

"You'll have to stay in bed for a few days, then I'll see if I can get you a wheelchair so you can get out of this room." I nodded squeezing his hand

"I can't wait." We sat for a bit and he told me about the accident. He told me how he brought me back to life and he got teary eyed when he said I died. I kissed his hand and he looked at me

"I don't know what I would have done if you had died Hailey. I would have hated myself for the rest of my life knowing I caused it." I pulled him close into a hug and kissed the side of his head

"I'd forgive you if that happened. But I'm not leaving you anytime soon, so don't worry about it babe." He gave me a weak smile and a quick kiss. A nurse walked in with a cup of water and pills a minute later

"Time to take your meds Ms. Fitzgerald." I nodded and took them feeling drowsy a few minutes later. Andy kissed my forehead

"I'll be here when you wake up, I promise." I smiled and nodded closing my eyes

Sleep engulfed me.
