Chapter 47: Put some pants on

Stars POV:

Ashley left and I sat on my couch. I stared at the blank wall and thought about how fucked up I am. How could I cheat on him? He was trying so hard and I was the one who ruined it. I silently cried into my hands and curled up in a ball on the couch. I fell asleep soon from exhaustion

When I woke up, it was dark outside and I heard creaking from a bed. Probably the damn neighbor getting it on again. Did I mention I live next to a stripper? Cause I do and it sucks. I sighed and stood up to get a bottle of water. The creaking stopped and I enjoyed the silence for a few minutes

"Star! Star, I forgive you baby!!" Was that Ashley?! What the hell is going on! I put my bottle down and listened for a moment. Nothing happened

"Ashley?! Ashley where are you?" I shouted hoping he heard me. There was another minute of silence before he replied

"Star?! Star help me! I can't get out of here!" I heard a door slam open and my neighbor yell

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I heard a loud slap and that was the last straw. I grabbed my emergency fire extinguisher and bolted to my neighbors door. I didn't bother knocking or anything and instead kicked the door open. I walked in and down a hall were a light was

When I came around the corner I found my neighbor straddling Ashley in a lingerie top. I was full of rage and ready to explode. I ran over to her and just as she looked over at me, I slammed my extinguisher into her face. She fell off Ashley and rolled off the bed and onto the wood floor knocked out. Blood oozing out her nose

I dropped the extinguisher and pulled out my pocket knife. I cut the zip ties off Ashley and he rubbed his wrists sitting up. I stood there and avoided eye contact by looking at the floor. He stood up and hugged me tightly

"Star... Thank you so much. I'm so sorry for earlier. I-" I stopped him by pressing my lips to his. I felt him smile and I pulled away a moment later

"Let's forget earlier happened." He nodded and smiled. I put my hands on his hips and didn't feel any fabric. I looked down and blushed. When I looked back up at him he had a mischievous grin on his face. I playfully slapped his chest

"Put some pants on. Come on, we're getting out of here before IT wakes up." I turned for the door as Ashley put his pants back on. I was half way to the front door when a muscular hand grabbed my arm and spun me around. I was greeted by Ashley's beautiful brown eyes and him now wearing his black vest. His shoes were by the door. He pressed our bodies together and wrapped his arms around my waist

"Thank you Star. For everything." I nodded slightly and wrapped my arms around his neck. I smiled as he leaned in and pressed his soft warm lips against mine. When he pulled away I slid my hands to his pecks

"So..." I started but faded off. Ashley tilted my head up using his pointer finger. He looked deep into my eyes

"So... What?"

"Will you give me another chance? I promise I won't fuck it up again." I asked with slight hope in my voice. He pressed his forehead against mine

"Of course Star. Of course." With that I jumped up wrapping my legs around his waist and arms around his neck. I smiled and kissed his shoulder as he hugged me. He bent down and grabbed his boots. We walked out the door and into my apartment. We locked the front door and Ashley laid me on my bed softly and stood there awkwardly. I patted the spot next to me

"Come on, I don't bite. Hard." I winked and he smiled laying next to me. We crawled under the blankets and cuddled up to each other. He kissed my forehead and pulled me closer to him. I smiled and closed my eyes

Soon we were both asleep in each others arms.
