"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!"

"Y/N-ssi, look here please!"

"Notice me, senpai!"

"WE LOVE YOU Y/N!"

You smiled your breathtaking eye smile and waved at your fans. You had just finished your solo stage on M! Countdown. You were a newly-debuted artist under Pledis Entertainment, and a solo one at that. You were young, only born in 1999, and beautiful, having won many pageant contests in your high school. However, you were cold and quite distant to everyone.

Wait, nah. Just Xu Minghao and Lee Jihoon, your sunbaes from Seventeen.

You were kind to literally everyone, even helping a grumpy grandma cross the street once, to which she thanked you after. It came naturally for you, something that you enjoyed doing though it burdened your part sometimes. People adored you for it, and deep down you knew that was the reason The8 and Woozi liked you. You were starting to think if you were being too kind.

Cutting your train of thoughts, were two familiar figures standing in front of the crowd of fans.

"Y/N-ah! Here! Here!" The8's grin looked like it was going to split his face into two equal parts. But that grin was soon replaced with a scowl as a shorter figure pushed him to the side, wanting to be in the middle where you could see him.

"Noooo! Look at me! Me!" Woozi frantically flailed his hands (accidentally hitting the Chinese boy on his face), hoping you would be able to spot him. Because in all the honesty Lee Jihoon possessed, he was aware of his... condition. You know, his lack of height.

You almost frowned then and there, not being able to believe how childish the two older boys could be. Not wanting to cause a scene, you quickly smiled and waved once again before quickly coming down the stage.

And that was just one.

"Y/N-ah! Someone's here to see you!" Your manager popped her head into your waiting room.

You raised your eyebrow. "Someone?"

"Eh?" She scratched her head and put up two fingers, smiling a nervous smile. "Two people." You see, your manager was only two years older than you. She was naturally more of a sister than a manager to you.

You pouted. "It's them again, isn't it?"

She nodded and looking up at you, she said, "I know you like them, Y/N." There was no sense of playfulness in her voice.

You sighed and shrugged. "I... guess."

Mirroring your actions earlier, she sat beside you in front of the make-up table and looked at your reflections. The two of you chuckled at how you looked alike, you might as well be sisters. As the laughter died down, seriousness enveloped you. "Y/N-ah, you know you must choose, right?"

You slowly nodded. You knew.

Your manager smiled. "Fighting, dongsaeng!"

You smiled back and raised your fist. "Fighting!"

-

"What was all the fighting about?" The8 asked you the moment you stepped out of the waiting room.

You shrugged. "Just something. Ah," you turned to him, "where's Woozi sunbae?"

The8 frowned. "Yah, why are you looking for him when I'm here?"

"Manager-nim told me there were two of you, though..." you trailed off.

The Chinese boy sighed. "Something came up and he had to stay to write some lyrics. For our comeback I guess."

You nodded in understanding. For some reason, you felt weird not having the 1996-liner around. Shaking off your peculiar thoughts, you turned to The8 and said, "Let's go get some coffee."

The boy happily nodded, pulling you to the coffee shop which was (thankfully) just beside the building you were in. "Y/N-ah, find a table for the both of us. I'll order." He smiled as a strange sense of nostalgia hit you.

You obliged, finding an empty table in no time. Absentmindedly, you sat, thinking if your sunbae knew what to get for you. You didn't have to wonder any longer, because you suddenly found yourself face-to-face with an green tea frappe. 'I only drink warm at night, though,' you thought to yourself, but accepted the drink anyway. and then your remembered.

"Y/N-ah, find a table for the both of us. I'll order." Woozi smiled. "You must be tired."

"But-" Your protest was cut off by his finger on your lips, silencing you.

Woozi smiled wider. "It's fine. I know what to get you."

"You do?" You raised an eyebrow, amused.

He proudly nodded. "Just wait and see."

You were left to be quite amazed after, because he on the table he placed two cups of hot chocolate. "The original one is yours, and the one with extra nuts is mine."

"How did you know I didn't like nuts?" you inquired suspiciously.

Woozi shrugged. "I have my ways, Y/N."

You gasped dramatically. "Stalker!" you shrieked and laughed, causing him to mirror your actions. You were contagious, and he loved that about you.

"I like you, you know?" he said once the laughter died down.

You nodded, still thinking he was joking. "I know. You don't hit me with your guitar."

He held your hands on the table, startling you. "No, I mean it, Y/N-ah."

You didn't respond, at least not physically. But your heart was palpitating at an abnormal speed as you heard, but chose to ignore, a small voice saying, "I like you, and I mean it, too."

Coming back to reality, you stood up abruptly, giving a mini heart attack to the boy sitting across you.

"Y/N-ah, you startled me!" The8 laughed, which he immediately stopped, sensing that something was wrong. "What's wrong? You can tell me, you know?"

You shook your head, gripping your drink. "I have to go. I'm sorry."

The8 was confused. "Eh? Why so suddenly?"

"J-just something. Yeah, I forgot to do something extremely important." You nodded, convincing yourself.

"O-oh, okay."

After hearing him say 'okay', you immediately rushed out of the café, hailing a cab and heading to Pledis Entertainment. When you reached your destination, you quickly paid the ahjussi who had been kind enough to stay silent and watch you in your panic mode. As fast as your feet could carry, you ran and ran, not stopping until you reached the recording studio. You tried calming yourself down before opening the door, which was of completely no use because the door was opened by no other than Lee Jihoon.

"Y/N? What are you doing here? I thought you were out with Minghao." He furrowed his brows in slight discomfort at the mention of the younger boy.

Without saying anything, you moved forward to wrap your arms around his waist. You could tell he was startled, but it soon subsided as he wrapped his arms around you back.

"What is it?" he softly asked.

You pulled away a little, just enough for you to see his adorable face. "I like you, sunbae."

Woozi's eyes widened slightly. He quickly overcame the shock and smiled, pulling you closer and pecking your lips. "I'm glad."

You pushed him away. "That's all you're going to say?!"

He giggled, pulling you once again and burying his face into the crook of your neck. "Call me Jihoon oppa first."

"What?"

"Say Jihoon oppa."

"Jihoon oppa."

"I love you."
