A Birthday Surprise

Ansel stood in the Slytherin Common Room, he remembered how Iris had walked in with Draco the other night, he couldn't help but envy Draco, and he didn't know why. Iris was stunning, and the fact that every boy wanted her made him crave to be the winner, he was competitive, he had to win Iris Waters, though it didn't work like that.

"Iris." He said, smoothly speaking to her as she entered the common room. She was a curiosity to all.

"Birch." Iris crossed her arms and looked up at Birch, she was small but feisty.

"Call me Ansel." Ansel said, trying to play it cool.

"I'd rather not." Iris tried to walk off, but Ansel grabbed her arm, though Iris seems to shake him off. "I'm not interested in you Birch." Iris spat, though she stayed, she wanted to hear Birch's words.

"And you are interested in Malfoy?" Ansel was clearly more desirable than Malfoy, but Iris had her reasons for getting close to Malfoy.

"Not particularly, though he's obsessed with me, I'm doing a good deed Birch." Iris claims, though Ansel just chuckles.

"Then do a good deed and come with me to Hogsmeade today." Iris couldn't help but fall into Ansel's charms, she had to stand her ground. But she wanted nothing more to go into Hogsmeade with Ansel.

"Alright then Birch, but your paying." Iris tries to not show her happiness, which she does effectively.

"My pleasure." Ansel smiles and walked off, he had a date with Iris Waters, and he still doesn't understand how.

Cedric had me wonderstruck, we couldn't leave each other's arms. I actually ate my burger and I was still sitting with him. His parents were eating by the chairs at the front of the house, they didn't want it to be awkward. I finished my burger first, and began to eat Cedric's once I finished. He didn't mind this, but he did begin to eat a lot quicker.

"If it wasn't your birthday I wouldn't be letting you do this." Cedric sighs, knowing that I know he isn't too keen on me eating his food.

"Yes you would." I say, knowing Cedric better than he knows himself.

"Still, I don't mind it as much because it's your birthday." and I smile, he doesn't like to disagree with me.

"Kiss me." I say, but he doesn't do my request.

"Why should I?" He smiles lightly, I like it when he kisses me first but he likes it when I kiss him first.

"Because it's my birthday and I want you to kiss me." I respond back, and Cedric's likes it though.

"Order me about then?" Cedric chuckles, his finger are running through my hair softly.

"You know you love it." Then he, finally, kisses me after, making my birthday complete. We then decide that it is best if we have back to Hogsmeade, since I have just left my own party. I hug Emily and Amos goodbye before apparating off with Cedric.

I spot Cedric in town when I'm with Ansel, and I want to make Ansel jealous but also fulfil Cedric's guilty pleasure of me being Iris. So I walk over.

"Sofia, are you talking to your family again yet?" Iris asks, and Sofia knows exactly how to react.

"How do you know about that?" Cedric says before Sofia can, she wants me to focus on him not her.

"I know everything Diggory, especially about you and Sofia's little trip back to yours. I don't even know why I'm talking to you, I know that you are still not speaking to your parents. Just Birch is being extremely boring and I wanted a reason to talk to my favourite couple, despite how much I hate you both." Ansel doesn't seem to look that I called him boring, I know he'll be more exciting now I've mentioned that.

"Nice to see you to Iris." Cedric smiles, and walks away, holding on to Sofia tightly.

"You know you love to see me." I say before I walk off again with Ansel, hoping for a more thrilling adventure.

-

Both me and Cedric walk back into the party, however I'm not the only me there. In fact I'm already here, I'm on the top of the table, shouting out hate to everyone.

"I don't like any of you anyways. I can't believe you all really think Cedric loves me, heard of a love potion? Who would love me anyway, I'm just a shy little bitch. I've been fooling you all, Sofia Lent doesn't exist. You want to know who I am? I'm fucking Iris Waters, and I have been, this whole time. You blind fools!" What was the impostor doing, what are they doing.

"Don't believe her! She's lying! She's not the real Sofia, she's an impostor!" Cedric stood up on another table and argued back to the impostor.

Sofia, grab her  I hear Cedric think, and I run over and grab the girl, though she's outsmarted me once again.

"Who are you?" I whisper to her ear, she tenses but then relaxes, as she knows something.

"Me? I'm your shadow, or at least I've lived in it my whole time here. Not anymore Waters, I'm stronger than you could ever imagine." Then they grab their wand and disappear. They know my spell, only a few people know that I use that spell, only a few people have lived in Iris' shadow, only a few people would want revenge. Ona. Of course it's Ona. But how?

-

"It's Ona, Cedric's it's Ona." I say as soon as she leaves, running up to him. Cedric told everyone briefly about the impostor. Quite a few people believed us, since it was Cedric and all, a lot of people just believe Cedric's making up lies again, though not many. Others are just dead confused, but we won't know how.

"Ona? How do you know?" Cedric whispers to me, getting down from the table.

"She said that she lived in Iris' shadow all her time here, who else could it be?" I explain to Cedric, who looks scared but relieved, I feel for him.

"She's messed up everything, where has she gone?" Cedric says, he wants to speak to her alone. I know how over protective he can be.

"She knows my time spell, we'll never be able to catch her Cedric. And it's not like Dumbledore's here anymore, he could have helped us." I sigh, we are hopeless.

"Does Malcolm still like Iris?" Cedric stays, he seems to have a plan.

"I don't know, probably." I shrug, Iris hasn't spoken to Malcolm in forever.

"Go up to Malcolm, erase every memory he has of you being Sofia and Iris and get Iris to reel him onto our side. Then we use Malcolm against Ona, Ona has to be still in love with him." Cedric is smart, he knows what to do to take Ona down, but I have a feeling it is going to be harder than we think.

That night I lay in bed, Cedric was in the kitchen to whatever he seemed to be doing, however he wouldn't tell me what. I tried to forget the drama that seemed to keep ruining my birthday and focus on the good parts with Cedric, it what kept me going I guess, and it always will be.

Cedric walks in with bacon, and I chuckle as he comes with it and places it on my lap. "What you requested." He smiled, he knew I needed cheering up.

"Your not topless." I remind him, he had forgotten my favourite part of my birthday wish.

"That's for next year." He says, while walking round to his side of the bed and snuggling in, however I put the bacon on the side and turn to face him.

"No it's not." I say before slowly taking his top of and snuggling into his bare chest.

"Are you not going to eat the bacon?" Cedric asks as he puts his arm around me so his hand his positioned right by my hair.

"I'm not hungry." I say, which really irritates him, but he chose not to bring it up.

"Are you alright? I'd already ruined your birthday eve, then your family, then Ona?" Cedric seems deeply concerned about me, I am too.

"I'm fine, I've just had better birthdays I guess. But you have to have a few shitty ones to make the best ones stand out." I smile, trying to look on the positive side of things.

"I guess they do." Says Cedric, as I drift away to another day, and forget about everything for a moment or so.
