After the snowball fight fiasco Danny thought it'd be best if everyone went inside for hot chocolate and cookies. Dani hoped up on Danny's lap and looked at him pleadingly as he ate his cookie. "No." he said without looking up at her.
"But whyyyyyy?!" Dani wined.
"Dani trust me for all of our safeties you do not need any more cookies." Danny said still eating hi own.
"But Daaaaaaaad! I've only had six!" she pleaded.
"No." Danny said again.
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"Maybe... I mean no!""Dani smirked
"Pretty pretty pretty pleaseeeeeeeee?!"
Danny sighed "One more... but you have to go straight to bed afterwards!"
"Ya!" she cheered and grabbed another cookie from the table.
Dani started to nibble on it then went back to sit on Danny's lap. She broke of a piece and handed it to him. He smiled and ruffled her hair "Thanks." She finished off the rest of her cookie then nuzzled herself into Danny's arms. He smiled stood up. He turned to Sam and Tucker "I'll be right back..." he whispered and they nodded.
The whole class watched him as he walked upstairs. Only nobody noticed Maddie silently following after him...
